You can say that and all, but that's what'd been pretty much happening up to that point. And the 1st page doesn't tell you how a person did in their last game. Really, just don't reply if you really don't feel like answering the question, there's no problem if you don't. Making urself sound like an donkey gets you nowhere.

I agree.

I hope Grabner has a good game.

Stats for each prospects game's are usually posted right after a game has ended, or even given reports when the game is still going on. It isn't that hard to go to moosehockey.com or whl.ca. Like I said, stats as soon as something happens (points wise) if is reported right away on here.

One of Tim, myself or breeze usually has Moose/Junior stats updated as the games go on. Toxic is usually watching Schneider or when Raymond played in college hockey.

From Moose Pre-Game Notes:

Breaking up the band: In an effort to kick start the Moose offence, Coach Scott Arniel moved Jannik Hansen onto a line with Jason Jaffray and Lee Goren Saturday night versus Omaha and moved centre Brad Moran -- who had failed to register a point in his previous seven games -- to a different line. When Moran was injured earlier in the season, Hansen played well filling in on the top line. Saturday night, the trio of Goren, Jaffray, and Hansen combined for four of the six points registered by
the Moose as Hansen scored his 12th of the season.

Schultz bulges the twine: Last season’s Moose leading scorer, Jesse Schultz, broke a 16-game goaless drought when he
scored his 18th goal of the season Saturday night versus Omaha. Schultz - a healthy scratch two-games ago -- hadn’t scored
since the third period of an 8-3 win over the Rochester Americans at the Blue Cross Arena on Feb. 23/06.

With regards to itzabreeze, I didn't know that. Never when I'd checked the first page had I seen how the player did in their previous game. If that changed just recently well then I didn't know and I'm sorry about that.

As for Dortmund's comment, it is much appreciated and what keeps this thread going. On that particular day, none of the formerly mentioned people had posted on how the 2 prospects that the person asked about had done during that day.

Thanks for the info on who'se playing during the day though itza.

Guys, if you guys keep complaining about toxic you may never know, he could stop this thread and we'd all be screwed. So imo, just shut up.

Cause that would just be a huge shame for everyone!!! Who cares that he made the thread. He doesn't have the right to go around patronizing everybody. I'm sure nothing would be affected if somebody else was the creator of the thread.

Why would we be screwed? We could easily just go on the teams sites and see how the players are doing. (WHL, QMJHL, MooseHockey.com, etc.)

I think that Toxic has done a good job with this thread, but he does need to update the first page a bit more. That or appoint a guy like itzabreeze to do it.

You guys should shut up. He does this in his own time, and goes out of the way for hundreds of people maybe thousands that read it daily. If he wants to update it more often he will, if he doesnt dont complain.

Wouldn't you just rather have all the information in one place though? This is done on someone's free time, and it's not like your paying him to get you this information. If your unhappy about Toxic not updating the first page, go get all the information from somewhere else, present it to him so he can edit the post. Really though, there isn't much more to say about the front page. All he can do is put statistics up there and maybe a more current description that isn't really much different than before. The only time I can see the front page being updated is when draft time comes, then I think its appropriate to right a new explaination about the players and their performance and put the new guys up on the board.

Well, it would be nice to go to the first page and see an up to date stat list for our prospects. But to be honest, with me, I always pay attention to how Grabner, Bourdon, Raymond and others are doing anyway so I don't really need the update, but for the casual person looking in this thread, it would be nice for them to have it up to date. It is done in his spare time, he doesn't have to deal with all of us and he doesn't get paid. But since he's doing this, you'd think that he could update it a little more often in his spare time so you don't have people asking for him to constantly update it. Again though, Toxic shouldn’t take offense to what I am saying because I have already said many times that he is doing a great job, and I have no problems with the way he is running this thread. Well, accept with the lack of updates on the first page.

Raymond quick to catch on
Manitoba rookie impresses with speed, offensive vision

by Gary Lawless, Winnipeg Free Press
OMAHA, Neb. -- Veteran Mike Keane was methodically taking apart teammate Colby Genoway in a post-practice rib session and Mason Raymond wasn't missing a word.

Genoway had made the mistake of venturing into a wager with Keane and then extended his error by attempting to find a loophole in the arrangement. Keane, a veteran of almost 20 years of professional hockey, is almost as accomplished in the dressing room as he is on the ice. He was giving a clinic and just over a week into pro hockey, Raymond was taking note.

"I'm learning something every time I walk around a corner," said Raymond, who was held pointless in Saturday night's 3-2 win over the Omaha Knights before 5,114 customers at the Omaha Civic Center. "I can remember Mike Keane from when we had season tickets to the Calgary Flames. He's got lots to show a young guy and I feel lucky to be around him."

The Moose held a pair of veterans, Brandon Reid and Marc Chouinard, out of the lineup and instead kept the rookie Raymond in the mix.

"Hey, it's tough to sit out at this time of the year for a new guy but if it's what the team needs, that's the important thing at this stage," said Keane.

Raymond, 21, joined the Moose less than two weeks ago after completing his season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has immediately impressed with his speed and offensive vision.

The Moose went with just four veterans last night as both Brandon Reid and Marc Chouinard sat out. Brendan Brooks and rookie Patrick Coulombe also watched from the stands in their suits.

Manitoba at Iowa, today at Wells-Fargo Arena, 5:00 p.m. (CJOB).

"You can tell right away that he's talented," said Keane. "His joining us at this time of the year; it's a lot like the start of my career. I got called up to Sherbrooke (Canadiens) after my junior season was over. He's done all the right things to fit in. Fresh legs and fresh people are important at this time of year and you never know, he might be that playoff performer that surprises everyone. Most teams that go deep have a guy like that and maybe Mason is ours."

Raymond piled up the points in the college game scoring 25 goals and 49 assists in two seasons of NCAA Division 1 action. The Vancouver Canucks selected the Cochrane, Alta., native in the second round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and invited him to join the Moose in mid-March. Since leaving school, Raymond has one goal and two assists in five games and last night played on the second line with centre Nathan Smith and right wing Jesse Schultz.

"It's always been my goal to play pro hockey and college was a great experience but this just seemed like the natural progression for me," said Raymond, who has forgone the rest of college eligibility by turning pro. "It was a great opportunity and joining the Moose has been a great experience. Like I said before, I'm learning all the time. Just the ropes of playing pro hockey. Some things are the same, like where the rookies sit on the bus, but then we get to the hotels and they're so nice and even the restaurants we eat in. It's all new to me and I'm just so glad to be here."

Raymond grew up just outside of Calgary and has a typical Canadian hockey player's story.

"We had all kinds of ponds on our farm. The farm was a great place for a young guy to grow up. You learned about hard work and I loved being outdoors all the time. I still do," told Raymond, who at 6-0, 175-pounds is still a bit on the smallish side for a pro. "I learned to skate outside. We'd go from pond to pond and then later my dad built a rink in our back yard. I played minor hockey in town but I got lots of my ice time outside. It was a great way to grow up

The problem with some of these guys is simple, they are just to lazy to look it up themselfs, I bet their Mommies have to clean their rooms also. If they are that interested and they know what players they would like to keep stats on all they have to do put them as 1 of their favorites and then they are only a click away.

Ok, i need to settle this down

People here seem to think i'm a good natured guy, nice, and helpful.

Well that ain't me

You want me to describe me? Ok, i'm a elitist. I've said it before and i'll say it again, i'm a highly intellectual, self-centered guy who sees EVERYTHING in life from a different and unique point of view as compared to you, the norms of the world.

I don't care if you like this thread or not, if you didnt like it you wouldnt have posted. You can bash me all you want for not updating the page (even tho the CDC update is also mine, and IS updated every week) or being starved for attention.

But i am not starved for attention, i could care less about your attention because if some of you question me for an instant then i move on, i don't need a legion of great followers to qualify what i do, what i do is qualified by the #'s, the fact i have over 3,000 posts and multiple hundreds of thousands of views, so if some of you don't like it, THEN STEP ASIDE.

If you don't like me, thats fine, but if you bash on my qualities because you dont think the same way, or act the same way, then its the same as being racist, your insulting someone based on who they are, inside, which is not something that can be changed.

Now, as for the person who wanted updates on B&R, seriously, the CDC update was posted on the same day, and it tells you the specific stats and the fact his team swept the Fog Devils, do you really need much more? Or do you want an in-depth, play-by-play write up of how he perofmred each and every game? If you want the latter, go away.

As for Rahimi, the same, his stats were updated and it shows his teams standing in the Kvalserien.

Some people cant get this through their skulls: THIS ISNT A JOB, i do not come home every day after a long day at work and say: i'm going to spend all my free time spoon-feeding lazy 13 year olds kids. I come home and i R-E-L-A-X, you heard of it???

Sure i watch as many games as i can, but i can;t watch Bourdon or Rahimi on a daily basis, i;ve already put forth my OWN money to watch specific games, but i wont shell out more and more just so a select few can get a perfect little neatly packed description of how a player played in each and every significant or insignificant game.

As for the front page, i don't like it, thats why i havent changed it, i'm thinking of re-doing it ALL from scratch, which, by the way, will take about 4 hours.

And one last thing, you can say all you bloody want, but it doesn't matter, it rolls off me, to do what i do you need to have thick skin, so don't think your little jabs get to me, and stop wasting your time, some of you are just jealous, seriously some of you really are jealous, and thats no way to live.
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)
You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.
