Yawn.
Yeah, well lets make some space for Grabner on the Moose now.
I don't think he'll go to the Moose. They already have 4 healthy bodies in the pressbox, with already personnel issues. If he does go anywhere it could be with the Salmon Kings in the playoffs. If the Moose weren't so good this year I'd say he'd be there but I think Raymond took his spot.

Dude, calling yourself intellectual is probably one of the most arrogant things you can do. It's okay to be motivated and antisocial, but don't think that you can patronize people and sincerely believe that you are smarter than them just because you know something they don't. This paragraph is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Well yes, if you take it;s connotation and not the ACTUAL meaning:
"An intellectual is a person who uses his or her intellect to work, study, reflect, speculate on, or ask and answer questions with regard to a variety of different ideas"
You really didnt need to post that, if you read the restof what i wrote you know that means nothing to me, and i never said i know more, i said i see things from a different point of view. Like you, you saw what i wrote in the normal sense, which is to explode and insult someone rather than rationally thinking through it, so thanks for making my point

If so thats pretty damn pathetic.
The series was like Chilliwack playing Vancouver. I'm surprised Spokane won games. Everett made Vancouver look average all year long. This team is by far the best team in the WHL. It's a little disappointing but it's not like Grabner's team was the favourite. Then I'd be pissed.

Everett did check him tight, but thats not an excuse.
But now we get the kid playing against men now.
If he can't even rack up points against boys what makes him look promising playing against men?
We got the ******* Pavel Datysuk of the WHL as our prospect?
**** I hope we find out he was playing sick or injured.

Well shouldn't Grabner be dynamic enough to dominate the game by himself with his speed and talent? I mean if he is a 1st round draft pick and touted pretty highly with this organization then you should hope he shows some offensive stretches of brilliance.
Yes his team would suck but that doesn't mean Grabner would have to suck.

No, it's not that I myself am angry at you. It's just that I think it's gutless to shun people who ask questions about something that you know. And it hasn't been just one time. It seems to me like as the year has progressed, you continue to think that people don't have to right to ask you (the person who I admit knows a lot about the topic) a couple of questions directly, as opposed to sifting through over a hundred pages to find the answer.

Or maybe people just can't seem to realize he was playing against arguably the best team in the WHL with an amazing goalie, dominating offence, and a very good defensive core. No excuses for Grabner though, but it is only his first post-season on mediocre team. I think it would be wise though to wait a little while before calling Grabner a Pavel Datsyuk playoff performer, wait till he plays on the Canucks then we start bashing his playoff performances because realistically, junior playoffs are nothing like NHL ones.

He was playing at the tail end of the flu.
You should make more snap judgements.

give the kid a break, hes an awesome player; so he had a few bad games against one of the best teams in the league. just because he didnt have the greatest series against the BEST, that does not mean he will turn out to be a bad player. Go Grabner!

Malkin. Semin. Ovechkin. Kovalchuk.

But it wasnt hundreds of pages, it was2, maybe 3 max the person had to go through
If someone asked me to give a detailed description, sort of a talent analysis of a player then i would do that, but it was a simple stat update, something they could have got from 3 different sources just as quickly, if not quicker then asking here. If someone asks me something they cant genuinely find easily thats fine, but sometimes people are just too lazy and not resourceful enough, all it takes is 2 seconds of concrete thought and the person could have come up with the fact he could check CDC, he could check www.lhjmq.qc.ca or he could even check other threads and forums, or (god forbid) he could check the page (or 2) previous.
There's a difference between not knowing and wanting to know, and being lazy, he was just lazy. It's like someone posting in the GDT what the score is, or who the goal scorers were, or someone posting in the SALO RE-SINGS thread "How much will he get per year, and for how many years" Everyone would call them lazy, but not here?

I can understand Bourdon but finding stats on Rahimi tends to be fairly difficult. I know that there was an update on CDC in which Rahimis stats were posted but most people are unaware that the prospects section on CDC even exists. Obviously the poster who asked the original question was either lazy or stupid but it wouldn't have hurt to have simply let him know about the update on CDC. The lazy people that come in and ask others to do the dirty work for them piss me off too. But every once and a while an honest person will post a legitimate question and it wouldn't hurt to give them a hand.

Its just a little disappointing to know that he wasn't even the best player on his team even though they lost the series (which was expected). I don't you can really use the flu as an excuse for his play unless some nagging injury was also hampering him.
