Actually they should be pretty good next year, they were a young team with little experience this year.

Gladskikh ousts Koltsov & Chubarov
Magnitogorsk beat Omsk by 3-1 games in the Russian Super League's semifinals, which means that winger Evgeny Gladskikh will get a chance to play for the RSL title while the season is over for rearguard Kirill Koltsov and center Artem Chubarov.
Game 3 of the series proved to be pivotal, as Magnitogorsk scored three goals in the last nine minutes to rally from a 1-3 deficit.
Gladskikh sparked the comeback by scoring the goal which closed the gap to 2-3. Earlier in the game, Gladskikh had already collected an assist on his team's first goal.
For Omsk, Chubarov scored a goal on which Koltsov assisted.
None of the Canuck prospects figured on the scoresheet in Game 4, which Magnitogorsk won by a score of 5-2 to advance to the finals.
Gladskikh currently has two goals and three assists in ten playoff games, while Chubarov finished the postseason with a total of three goals and five assists in eleven games. Koltsov's final postseason stats were three goals and three assists in also eleven games.
In the other semifinal series, Kazan leads CSKA by 2-1 games.
Winger Sergei Shirokov has a goal and two assists in the series so far, including an assist on the game winner with 2:57 left in Game 3.

He can't be assigned to the Moose by the Canucks at the moment. I'm fairly sure he'd have to sign an ATO with the Moose independent of his current deal with the Canucks. I could be mistaken though.

Next year might be the only year he has some talent around him, if he doesnt i can certainly see him being traded, the Chiefs wont squander him if they dont have a chance
