Well Raymond already has, so why not Grabner?. It is not just about the goalz/points Grabner *could* put up. He HAS the ability to help A team by making other teams take penatly's because of his speed, is a threat short handed........ ect ect.

Arniel was quoted as definitely not wanting to be a one-line team and, correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't Hansen been elevated to the top line? Having all your eggs in one basket is a recipe for playoff disaster. Even the Flames need Huselius, Lombardi and Tanguay to be a threat. Raymond is a mix of Lombardi and Tanguay (from what I gather) and Grabner could also help in a Lombardi-esque type of way. PK and breakouts. Pk is all about coaching and goaltending, so Grabner could be a valuable threat with Arniel's tutoring.

Edit: Especially since Grabs has been killin' penalties all year.

It could be easier for one to organize with GDT, Junior Prospect, AHL prospects I'm fine the way things are, then again I know more than the "average" Canuck fan about what's going on with our prospects.

I'm just so excited to have a Stastny/Wolski type growth with our prospects. By that I mean two top end prospects like Raymond/Grabner playing and developing together. With those two's speed, Raymonds vision and Grabners finish my god it could be a recipe for great things.

THe last two games against Toronto will be on Sportsnet. I think that's the 13th and 14th? I could be wrong, go to the Moose site. They will be on TV though.

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have assigned forward Michael Grabner to the Moose.

Grabner, 19, was Vancouver’s first round draft choice, 14th overall, in this past year’s NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in 55 games in his third season the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL this year, scoring 39 goals and 16 assists for 55 points and 34 penalty minutes. In six post-season games with Spokane, the Villach, AUT native collected an assist and two penalty minutes.

In three seasons with Spokane, Grabner appeared in 180 games and scored 88 goals and 41 assists for 129 points and 80 penalty minutes.

Nice, I like it. When is Rahimi coming over? Do you think when Bourdon and Schneider's playoffs are done, they would come to the Moose as well?

I know there is a big question mark on Schneider on whether he'll turn pro or not, but what are your guys opinions?

IMO the idea of a prospects section could be very ideal. Like the original poster had stated we could have basically 1 thread for each of our top prospects. That way you could have a poster like hiroshima only posting in Simek's thread and not necessarily bashing Grabner or our other prospects so much. For the lesser known prospects a thread could be created for them all. Also a thread could be created with all the stats of our prospects like the 1st page of this thread, as the original suggester had suggested.

Moose lost 2-3. Raymond and Hansen were both even +/- while Edler was a -1

Hopefully Grabner can have an impact in his first game like Raymond did in his first couple
