IMO the idea of a prospects section could be very ideal. Like the original poster had stated we could have basically 1 thread for each of our top prospects. That way you could have a poster like hiroshima only posting in Simek's thread and not necessarily bashing Grabner or our other prospects so much.

Out of jealousy, hiroshima would just hijack Grabner's thread with more Simek semen.

Great news about Grabs. Gettin' a sniff at the pros before Simek! (That's just for hiroshima)

Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

KNOCK ON WOOD DORTMUND, KNOCK ON WOOD!!!

I did when I said it don't worry though for us it's better for Bourdon to advance to the Mem cup so we can see him again. For him both playing in the AHL or Mem cup isn't going to hurt him.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

Going to have a log-jam on the Moose if Bourdon/Schnieds were to join.

Anyone know the prospect limit on the Moose?

Hmph! Coulombe had 2 assists for Victoria, they won 6-4

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I remember reading somewhere that Shirokov has expressed interest in staying with CSKA next season. Obviously this isn't official and we won't know for quite some time what his intentions are however I just was wondering what other peoples thoughts are. IMO if he doesn't come over after this season the chances of him ever coming over drop drastically. And to be realistic even if he did come over next season there is always the chance that he changes his mind midseason and bolts back to Russia...

Which European prospect would you rather have on the Moose? Shirokov or Rahimi?

Rahimi. Shirokov's 5'0" frame frightens me.

Earlier someone said Coloumb is awful, which is an ignorant statement in my opininon. Even when he was called up for the couple games he played with the 'nucks his offensive potential was very noticeable. However, he is tiny and was never able to handle the size of hulking NHLer forewards. He will be a valuble PP QB for the Moose in a few years.

When the Boards changed it messed up how everything looks, so Toxic RD is having to rewrite everything to git nicely within the new boards.

This may have already been posted .

It is from the Nucks website.

His on ice exploits have not come as the result of sacrificing the student part of the equation. Schneider epitomizes the term Student-Athlete; being named to the 2005 and 2006 Hockey East All-Acdemic team (the 2007 team has not yet been named), and is on pace to graduate with a finance degree from the Carroll School of Management in just three years.

Does this mean that he will be here sooner ???

These college players have that NHL look

While the pros plan for the playoffs, future pros are in St. Louis for the Frozen Four. Powerhouse programs North Dakota, Michigan State, Maine and Boston College will compete for the Division I hockey championship (title game at 7 p.m. ET Saturday on ESPN). BC is the favorite to win a closely matched competition that has all the spice and emotion of that big hoops tourney. And hey -- it's hockey with American lads in major roles.

Future pros?

Jonathan Toews, North Dakota. Skating on college hockey's best line with T.J. Oshie (Blues, 2005) and Ryan Duncan, Toews (No. 3 overall pick by the Blackhawks in 2006) has NHL star quality.

Cory Schneider, Boston College. The Frozen Four's hottest goalie, Schneider (Canucks, 2004) could be the next Ryan Miller. And watch goaltending's Mutt and Jeff: Maine's 6-7 Ben Bishop (Blues, 2005) and Michigan State's 5-6 Jeff Lerg.

Chris Porter, North Dakota; Brian Boyle, Boston College. It's a last shot at amateur glory for seniors such as Porter (Blackhawks, 2003) and Boyle (Kings, 2003).

nhl network has an NCAA game live at 5:00pm. It says live , so that should be the BC/NDU game.

Yup the BC game is on right now on the NHL Network for those that want to watch. I won't be able to watch it so by any chance could someone post an update/review?
