I really hope that Hansen plays for us throughout the playoffs.

Didn't get to watch a lot of the Moose game u_u since my mom and brother insisted on changing the channel to TSN during commercials/intermission.. but I caught some of the first period and maybe like a couple of shifts with Raymond, and there was this one time in the first period where he just skated and puck handled the puck like crazy behind Pogge and almost got the backhander and the rebound in.

Bliznak has more Playoff pts. than Simek

BTW, Brandon has lost 3 straight and now is 1 game away from elimination at the hands of the under-dog Calgary Hitmen

I really hope Simek and the Wheat Kings can pick up their game.

Just as long as they don't put him out on the powerplay again, he totally screwed up an incredibly clutch play during that last stretch in the 3rd.

 For the same reason, we shouldn't put Smolinski or Linden on the PP for every play on the PP they screwed up in the past.

For one screw up in that PP, Hansen created 3 scoring chances out of it where the players on the receiving end of his passes couldn't convert. So yes, that pretty much evens it up.

I hope they call up Raymond. We need some speed and scoring (does he work the PK?), and when we're forced to dress Santala, it couldn't hurt. With the emergence of Hansen tonight, and the lack of offense, I don't think a Raymond call-up is too far-fetched.

Here's hoping.

Last night was the first time I've seen Raymond and Grabner play and I have to say that the thing that impressed me the most was their size. For a speedy guys, they're actually not small. They're not not huge, but they certainly didn't look dwarfed out there. Same thing with Hansen. Not a huge guy, but certainly big enough to compete on the forecheck and backcheck.

I love the fact that we have these 3 speedsters who won't be pushed around and can compete physically.

That's what I was thinking about Grabner (his size). Gonna watch the Moose game shown today and hope he gets more TOI. Too bad the Pittsburgh game couldnt be later (though it makes sense to be the early game). Least I should be able to catch one period of that.

I had the exact same thought the one time I saw Grabner (barely played). I was thinking there's no way thats Grabner, he looked bigger than the majority of the people on the ice. They all need to work on their balance and lower body strength, but in a couple more seasons (maybe even next with a good training regiment) these guys could be insane, hopefully they don't develop the steel mits Kesler and others have.

First NHL game and you already blame him of missing a chance. Give him a break, it's a lot of pressure, playing in Game 2 of the playoffs and he played very well.
