We'll just have to see how he plays at the Canucks training camp next season

Oh and my bad about Fuller. I was always thinking he was a defenceman.

Hansen assisted on Bulis' goal, giving the young Dane his first ever point in the NHL.

Hansen played unreal!!! Such a hard worker with great speed and vision. I think he has secured a spot for a little while, he has played too good for AV to drop him out of the lineup. I think it's safe to say he'll be a regular next season.

simek wasnt a factor?you idiot.they lost,so nobody was good obviously.and he came back from a injury, and he wont return to brandon.OMG.he had a outstandinging WJC,he was the second best scorer at the tournament, with 4 goals, and he had no linemates, and a bad team.and he had still more points then grabner.well hopefully see him next year in the canucks jersey,or by the moose.he will do fine.

Juraj Simek, RW, 19
Drafted: 167th overall, 6th round (2006)

The Swiss stick-handling wizard had a great debut season in North America with the Brandon Wheat Kings. In 58 regular season games he scored 28 goals and 29 assists for 57 points. In the playoffs, Simek has played in eight of the Wheat Kings’ 10 games as his team faces elimination on Sunday. IN GENERAL, SIMEK HAS HAD A MUCH MORE CONSISTENT AND STEADY SEASON THAN FELLOW CANUCKS 2006 SELECTION, GRABNER. While he did have his ups and downs, the peaks and valleys tended to be smaller for him.

Simek is a good skater who is strong on his skates, making him difficult to move off the puck. His skating and puckhandling abilities help him to keep control of the puck in tight situations or in the corners. He showed his commitment to playing in the NHL by coming to play junior hockey in North America, and it is probable that he will play as a professional rookie in the AHL for the Manitoba Moose next season. Simek has second-line potential, but he will likely need a full season or two before he’s ready to play in the big show for a sustained period.

not true, example: Michael Ryder against the leafs on the last game of the season, he had three goals but they still lost

Grabner got his first goal the other night, it was a beauty of a goal...so nice.

lol.

I pretty much said the same thing awhile back. I agree with you 100%. Simek needs more WHL time.

Can't spell Kesler without Selke.

Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

Looks like Cory Schneider would be one of the goaltenders' for Team USA in the World Championships.

WHOA! T3H SHCNEIDS !!!!

I think some people are missing this Bliznakian storm, he's got 3 goals and 6 assists right now playing with Spencer Machacek and Michal Repik, both of whom are to be drafted this year, do you guys realize this line is the g-men's #1 line right now, and could easily stay together FOR THE NEXT 2 FULL YEARS!!!!

I think it's fair to say this guy has the ability to chip in offensivly when given the opportunity

Hmmm. Is Bliznak really 6'0"? Everytime I've seen him play he looks about 5'10". I guess if we stack our farm team with stars he might make it. He's a good enough skater, no?

If Spencer is available in the 2nd round for us I'd be very happy if we drafted him. We need more local talent on our team. Moller would be sweet in the 1st round too.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

I'd rather have quality talent, then get a local player with slightly less talent.

I'd take Macahchek in the late 2nd/early 3rd.
