Rahimi not in the lineup either.
This draft is going to be fun, but it will also generate a lot of WHY DID WE DRFT STPID SOFT EUROS STEAD OF GUD CNADIAN KIDZ?? if we were to draft Moller, Backlund of J.Andersson.
Ugg, I really wish they would put Rahimi in!. Grabner was only getting 4 shifts a games (literally ). So it's not surprised he is out. Hopefully, if he is given the opportunity he can make the most of it.

Well considering that we've been leaning towards "skill" players I'd be perfectly happy to get some stereotypical Canadian players who grow up loving the cup. I think it's clear who shows up come playoff time.

Well... the Sedins set that whole play up, and it was Ohlunds shot from the point. Not to mention Henrik scored the most important goal of the game when he tied it up.
And Bulis has been playing better than he has all season.

Moose lose defenceman to Canucks
By Tim Campbell
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The challenge continues to get more difficult for the Manitoba Moose.
Down 2-1 in their opening-round AHL playoff series against the Grand Rapids Griffins after a 2-1 overtime loss on Monday, the Moose today lost the services of rookie defenceman Alexander Edler for the foreseeable future.
Edler was recalled this morning by the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, who won Game 7 of their Stanley Cup first-round series against the Dallas Stars on Monday night.
It was unclear why the Canucks recalled Edler, though it appeared that either Vancouver defenceman Willie Mitchell or Sami Salo may have suffered injuries in the Game 7 win.
Vancouver opens the next round of the playoffs Wednesday night in Anaheim.
The loss of Edler will leave the Moose to insert one of two other rookies to take his place, either 19-year-old Swede Daniel Rahimi, who just joined the team, or Patrick Coulombe, who turned 22 on Monday.
The Moose coaching staff decided on an optional practice this morning in Grand Rapids, with about half the team skating.
Game 4 of the best-of-seven series is slated for Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena (6 p.m., CJOB, MTS-TV).
