Well considering that we've been leaning towards "skill" players I'd be perfectly happy to get some stereotypical Canadian players who grow up loving the cup. I think it's clear who shows up come playoff time.

(thank you Linden)

Moller plays a very gritty NA style game.

And there is nothing with highly skilled playmaking centres like Backlund or J.Anderson (who is 6'3)

F*cking Salo is made of glass, if he is out, that is a big blow to our (already) terribe PP.

The Moose are really going to miss Edler, we really need to send Smith down.

AND BOURDON GOALLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, me likee.

Question: I know that if a player plays more than 25 games it counts as his rookie season right? But do the playoffs count with that?

So if Edler, who's already played like 22 games, comes in and plays 5 games for the Canucks during the playoffs, would that count towards his total? So basically if that were to happen would he be a rookie next season if he made the Canucks' roster?

Playoffs don't mean anything for ANY FORM of rookie eligibility.

Regular season is the only thing that matters because thats what contracts pay you for.

Edler would still be a rookie and is calder eligible because he did not play more than 35 regular season games.

Same for Hansen.

Yes, they won 5-4 in OT on a penalty shot. Bourdon finished with 1G.

If we're lucky, we get to draft either Sutter or Anderson, both big playmaking centres.

But we should be content if we can select Oscar Moller or Mikael Backlund.

Remember we have the 34th overall pick as well, so we should get two good prospects this year.

If someone offered it to us, would you guys trade both of our top two picks for a top 15 pick and a late second rounder...?

How many 2nd rounders do we have left for 2007 again? 1 or 2? (Or does this depend on which draft year LA chooses for that Sopel trade)

The only second rounder we have left is the one from LA (34th overall pick).

I would trade up if it involved us having a shot at any of the top 7 ranked skaters or one of Esposito or Couture. That would be about it though. We really don't need D. Also one of our picks if not traded should be Lars Eller.

We may have two if LA decides to pass on the canuck second rounder this year and take the one in 2008. I doubt this will happen though.

No fu*king way to Esposito, no thanks, no no no no no, let him someone elses problem.

I think we should stay where we are, we have two mid picks in the top 60 and will be able to get two prospects of more or less the same quality.

We should not trade up in this weak draft, we need two quality picks (centres), not one top 7 non-guarenteed superstar.

There is no sure thing superstar that we can trade up and draft, we should stay where we are.

I agree with the Eller thing though, either him or Backlund with that 34th overall pick.

Next years draft is deeper, I can see them taking next years pick.

I found Juraj Simek on facebook the other day, but I have a lingering suspicion that it is Hiroshima.
