Hamill is going top 15...

Ranked 8th for NA skaters.

We have no chance at getting him.

We need a player like Sutter (who has size) more.

Some size would be nice, Couture, Sutter in the first round and Vellieux in the 2nd would be sweet.

Bortuzzo heehe we should draft just for the name

Is the Sutter everyone is referring to related to the Sutter family?

Very much so. Is he not the son of Calgary's GM Daryl?

With Couture dropping so far it would be lovely if we could have a crack at him. Drafting Couture and either Sutter, Eller or Backlund would be a wicked, wicked draft. I'm not that high on Backlund though, not sure why.

I don't think we'll get a crack at Couture, but it all depends on the needs of other teams.

CGY might not pass on Sutter though...

Vellieux's stock has been regressing for the last little while, but I would not mind a 6'5 centre with our 2nd rounder.

No.

Brent Sutter's (Red Deer Rebels coach) son.

Brett Sutter is Daryll's son, and they already drafted him in the 3rd round in 2005 I believe.

Sutter ftw, with one of the euro centres with our 2nd rounder (Backlund, Eller, Moller)

Bourdon finishes the game with no points +1 and 1 Shot with 4 Hits.
Cape Wins and now leads series 3-1.

And he is having a great season in the Swedish Elite League (might be SEL Jrs) but its not some no name Danish club.

I would love to get a North American with size (Sutter or Veillieux) + a skilled Euro Centre (Backlund, Anderson, Eller or Moller)

Plante or Hickey could be a solid D man to pick up as well in the 2nd. Who knows what this year is going to do. Could be a 99 Draft but then it could be a draft with a whole wack of late bloomers.

Just my wishlist for top 3 picks

1st Couture/Sutter/Moller
2nd Vellieux/Plante/Backlund
2nd Mahachek/Hickey/Eller

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

We have one second rounder (LA 34th)

Unless LA wants our 2nd round next year which is quite possible.

8:44 of Ice Time for Edler tonight. I was kind of surprised to see Edler as physical as he was tonight. That's usually not his style, but I like what I see :P

Just imagine if he could gain about 10 pounds or so...

I want some Canadian tough forwards with size! Canucks will lose against Anaheim because they are not physically tough enough.
