Once Luc settles in, he is probably the best D-man on the Moose roster( he's got a mean streak that Tremblay and Edler don't)... if the Nuck's get past the Duck's, and we continue to have injuries, is there any chance he could be called up to Vancouver?

Doubt it.

Edler already has 25 NHL games under his belt.

Bourdon is not going to walk onto the team and be No.1

You've never heard of the mysterious coach name Scott Arniel I'd assume?... I would be shocked if he saw any ice time. Arniel will think the tall and mighty Patrick Coulombe is god compared to Bourdon. :P

Rahimi & Bourdon will really help the Moose if we get past Anaheim. We are guaranteed to have some more injuries if this goes seven. This way we don't rape the farm with our emergency injury callups.

Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

The Moose will go from scraping talent to having depth at all positions. Especially if Van bows out( that kills me to say that too). Injuries Injuries Injuries...........Oh well. Go Bliznak the lone junior left.

What happened to Wade Flaherty? Drew Macintyre took over the #1 position right?

allright guys i went to the moose game on tuesday and heres what I thought.

Raymond: He showed explosive speed on the forecheck, there was on play where he was forchecking at about the middle of the circle and the griffins deffensmen was behind the net. Raymond effortlessly skates at a blazing speed towards the deffensman. before the deffensman even knew what was happening Raymond is on him and steeling the puck. Raymond trys to walk out front but he gets hooked and draws a penalty.

the good:Raymond showed great speed and acceleration and some good offensive awareness and creativity.
the bad: He needs to get stronger along the boards and off of faceoffs and his deffense needs improving

Rahimi: didn't play much but i liked his play when he was out there. One specific play comes to mind. The griffins had the puck along the half boards Rahimi skates over and attemps to fish the puck out with his stick. That fails, so (from a stand still) he CRUNCHES the player into the boards. The puck is then cycled to the other half wall where Rahimi CRUNCHES another guy from a stand still. Both hits could be heard throught the areana.

The good: liked his size and his physicle play, seems to be dependable in his own end.

The bad: didn't realy see much of him so its hard to critisize, he could probaly be a little quicker and maybe worck on his offensive skills.

the ugly: Rahimis playoff beard. (just kidding)

We need Mitchell to tutor this guy lol

Mitchell was always talking about how Coach Larry Robinson taught him how to use his stick work effectively and everything. It would be so cool if Mitchell taught Rahimi in like training camp or something.

We're already ravaged by injuries. It can't get much worse then how it was in game 2. I don't forsee Rahimi going ahead of Tremblay on the depth chart (experience.) Bourdon, maybe but I doubt it given the cup of coffee he was given at the start of the year.

The only way those guys get dressed is if 4 of our top guys get hurt.

I don't think the Canucks are particularly concerned about the effects of the call ups on the Moose. All moves are made with the Canucks in mind at this point in the year imo.

Regarding Arniel: He has been lauded as an important part of developing Buffalo's never ending fleet of talented forwards so I think I'll trust his decision making regarding our prospects. They are just kids, no sense throwing them into the fire.

Thats a great idea.

I like the way AV rooms our prospects with guys who they should aspire to be. Like grabner rooming in training camp with naslund. They should deffinatly room Rahimi with Mitchell and have him tutord.

i was just wondering: does grabner have the potential to be a top-end talent, or is he a middle-tier prospect?

1st line right wing potential.

Why would we pick a mid-tier prospect 14th overall?

I wouldn't say Kesler's any better then a mid-tier prospect.

I saw that Reid's come up and Edler's gone down but no word on Bourdon as far as I can tell.

Nothing is definite with prospects.

He has elite talent to become a 1st line winger, but could also be a bust (like ALL prospects).
