What reidfan is saying is that Arniel is sitting top end AHL vets and slotting in prospects because Vancouver is telling him to. But that's so far from the truth it's not even funny.

Last game Bourdon was slotted in for Heshka and Grabner was slotted in for Schultz...both have 0 points and are minus players. Nothing against the players, but you can't seriously believe that having Bourdon and Grabner was the reason the Moose lost.

Ha. Trust me, Reidfan is NEVER right.

Rahimi & Grabner have barely played, and when they were playing they got about 5 minutes of ice time. Litterally. Bourdon has played ONE game. Big deal. If someone wants to say that Bourdon is better then Patrick Coulombe & Shaun Heshka , I want what they are smoking. Raymond has been one of the best, if not the best Moose player in the playoffs.

What seems to be the problem is that the Moose have only one line "going" JJ,Moran,Goren". This has been a huge beef for Moose fans ALL year. Arniel plays the hell out of this line, getting almost 26 min a game, and just throws the reast of the lines in a blender every night. If the "Big Line" isn't going. Well then they lose. The PP SUCKS, the "big line" sucks = Moose lost

What about the so called "experienced players" on the Moose. You will need a massive spotlight to find where Schultz & Reid have been for the past 8 months. Oh wait, they have been in the press box

Gets off rant.

I was reading the post about Carey Price. MTL seems to be in good shape for goalie prospects. Halak, Price, Danis...

I really hope the Moose can turn their game around a come back in the series.

I wonder if Arniel will catch on and the fact during that radio broadcast everytime Hamilton was having problems was due to Raymond, Hansen and yes I know even Reid were buzzing around their zone. He's in love with his one line and when Goren misses the next 3 times they lose. Also, why bother putting Grabner in if he's only going to play 5 mins of hockey.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

First of all, Arniel has absolutely one coaching strategy. Play Goren, Moran & Jaffray. Every other offensive forward on the Moose has gone through very rough times in Manitoba. Reid, hansen & Schultz have been in and out of the doghouse all year. The Canucks and moose pretty much operate the same way. One offensive line and 3 different lines every other game. No consistency whatsoever in linemates or icetime. The big line is given every opportunity to perform whether they do or not. I have no problem whatsoever with giving a rookie forward a chance to play but I do with defense. When a defenseman makes a mistake it usually results in a goal whereas a forward can usually get away without it being too detrimental to the team. Rahimi was responsible for a bad choice that resulted in a goal in the game he played in and Bourdon was responsible for 2 out of the 3 goals in the last game. neither one of these defenseman have had any time whatsoever to adapt to the pace in the AHL and they are going to make mistakes. Unfortunately the moose are not in a position to let them develop at this point. I have never seen Rahimi play (except with the Moose) and have watched Bourdon in the Q and i have no doubt that these players will do well in the AHL with the proper amount of adjustment time. Raymond had 11 regular season games to adjust and he is undoubtedly one of the best Moose in the playoffs. He does not have the points to show for his play but if you watch the games you would agree.

HE HE HE

Reidfan and I actually agree. You just repeated what I said. I still don't get Arniel sometimes. But on the other hand, this is his FIRST year coaching the moose. Furthermore, they were one of the top teams in the AHL this year. It's hard to argue with the stats.

I REALLY hope Nonis addresses the Koltsov + Shirokov situation in his press conference

But i doubt he'll be asked about them. Most of the media guys prolly forgot we even got that draft pick from Florida

*sigh*

On Hansen/Edler/Other kids:

Put some good young kids in lineup. More value for money. Have good kids coming up....Raymond one of the best players on the Moose. Kids may push for jobs in the near future. Might not be their at the start of the near season... ect ect.

On Bourdon: Great end of the season with Cape. On Moose game, played well.

Koltsov likes money, and if he doesn’t get the money he wants, he’s not coming over.

Nonis, trade him now!

AV doesn't just focus on 1 line

If one line isn't going he will shake things up and move players around.

He is like Marc Crawford in that he doesn't go with players that are actually being effective, he sticks to his top line (WCE) no matter how poorly they are playing.

Watchin' Luc, Raymond, Edler and the boys as I type... 6 bucks for an iffy quality webcast probably isn't the greatest financial decision, but I really want to see our prospects in action. Bourdon's, Grabner's, and Raymond's speed is VERY noticable at the AHL level, thats one thing that has jumped out at me...
