The webcast I'm watching was $6 on my Visa and I gotta say I am more entertained by a grainy webcast than I would by renting a couple of DVD's for roughly the same price. Is it a sad commetary on my life that I paid to watch a Moose playoff game on my computer? Probably.

Another note is that the next Moose game isn't until Saturday giving the players a solid three days off.
And toxic, it would be great if you could have a live blog for the Memorial Cup. Very few people will get the behind the scenes view that you will so it would be cool if you could write some notes, updates etc. throughout the day.

IMO there is a organization plan to pattern the Moose play to that of Van's. Henning and Arneil come from a Buffalo background where the players are expected to be interchangeable. Lindy Ruff doesn't hestitate to go with players who are hot and sit those who are not. Check out the Sabre stats in the playoffs and you can see that icetimes for their elite players seldom exceed 18 minutes per game. AV showed this season he was prepared to do the same and wanted to role his lines much more than Crawford ever did. As Van's talent depth increases it is a winning strategy IMO.
This approach suggests a 5 year plan is in place. This fall we will be entering season three. I expect Raymond will make the jump to the Canucks before Hansen simply because he has grown up in NA hockey and is older.

Brandon Sutter is listed at 29th. There seems to be a lot of centre's to pick from in the top 30.
There is a good chane that Edmonton and Calgary would pick Brandon Sutter ahead of us right?
