Pretty sad that such talents as Maxime Fortunus and Prestin Ryan are on the powerplay and Bourdon doesn't get a sniff.

LOL do those guys suck or something ?

Bourdon has a very nice point shot, hpefully he gets some PP ice time.

Interesting to hear ur take on Grabner although he probably won't play much

Its amazing how much better Mayson Raymond plays as compared to Grabner. You really don't notice Grabner at all when he's out there.

How old is Mason Raymond?

Was this his first year in college?

Damn I was kind of hoping for Grabner to be an impact player right away in the AHL. I guess my expectations of him were so high considering the Canucks offered him a contract because they were so excited with his play during the preseason.

Oh well, he is still very young

I need to double my efforts:

Which young forward would you most like to see in Vancouver next season?

63.13%
Jannik Hansen
21.95%
Michael Grabner
5.135%
Sergei Shirokov
5.122%
Mason Raymond
4.086%
Jason Jaffray
Total Votes: 7243
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

Mayson Raymond should be leading that poll... holy crap has this kid got game. He looks better than Hansen in the last few Moose games I've seen.

J.J Hunter (who?) scores for the Moose to tie it up, 1-1.

People need to realize that Grabby is only getting about 5 min of ice time a game, Raymond is getting around 15 and PP time. If Grabner gets 5 shifts a game and Raymond gets god knows how many, it's pretty damn hard to read much into the game. Raymond is the more "balanced" player at the moment. Is Grabner less "talented" then Raymond in the long run....... I doubt that. I just hope that he will be given a fair shot once training camp starts in the fall. It's like people saying Bourdon is better then Edler. In the long run will Edler be better then Bourdon?, I highly doubt that. Is Edler more along in his development then Bourdon at the moment?, perhaps although that could be debated. Bourdon is a year younger then Edler so I would hope that he would be a more complete player at the moment.

Luc's done some good things and some of the things that made the Canucks send him back to junior. Arniel isn't giving him as much ice time as last game... no really big hits yet either.

And Hamilton just scored to tie it up 2-2. Luc was on the ice, but it wasn't his fault... Wade let in a softy...

There's a reason why Raymond has been playing so much. He's been one of the best players out there for the Moose. It doesn't surprise me that Grabner has only been playing 5 minutes a game because in all reality, he isn't good enough to make a significant impact. Right now, Raymond is the better prospect simply because he is further along development wise and has a much better chance at making an impact for the Canucks. Grabner will get his chance with the Moose next season. Raymond will get his chance with the Canucks next season.

-Mason is 22 and played three years at UMD I believe, before turning pro this year.

-When the Canucks signed Grabner to the rookie max they saw his potential (wheels). Knowing however, that that potential might not shine through for a few years.

-From what I here Mason is playing with Keane and Hansen, making a great trio; while Gabner gets very limited ice time and altough I'm not sure who he plays with, I'm sure it is not Jaffray and Moran.

I think I remember during the regular season, Grabner skated with Chouinard and somebody else.
