he is having such a s*** year... who was playing with him last year when he scored 38 goals or something like that?

i'm talking about shultz

I still think he deserves a second chance with the Canucks. He looked pretty good the 2 games he played for us.

Yeah and I don't think he is having that bad of a year. He's actually picked up his production in the second half of the season.

'TIS A ROMP!

Moose just went up 6-1

Shultz has 1G 2A, Edler has 1A, Genoway has 1A

Coloumbe has 1G 1A also. I know he isn't a top prospect but I think he could contribute down the road.

I see Coloumbe getting worked over by any player over 5'11

Honestly, not a good idea. I think they should stay and finish their college career. Give them more experience and maturity(look at Bieksa).

Im not saying put him in the CANUCKS roster. I'm saying put him on the Moose next year (EX Kesler)

Edit: Bieksa=Dman

D-man= Longer to develop

It really depends on how much ice time he gets. If he goes to the Moose and plays on the second or third line it may not be the best route for him. Staying for one final year in the NCAA would let him hone his offensive skills as he would be getting top minutes every game. But if the Canucks/Moose think he can come in and be an impact player on the Moose them I'm all for it.

Well that's the thing. Anyways, I believe I have already talked about this is the past... but....

Mason plays on a very weak team. They are not going to improve (drastically) by the end of NEXT season. He already gets TOP min. on the #1 PP and #PK. My concern is the lack of talent around him. Mason obviously is the "star" of the Minnesota-Duluth. His linemates
Bryan McGregor (22 Years OLD)
-Not Drafted

MacGregor Sharp (21 Years Old)
-Not Drafted

His linemates will most likely be career AHL/ECHL players once they are done their degree's.

If Mason was on a strong team (such as Cory's BC), I could see him develop faster, and possibility GAIN ever more confidence. Lets face it, not every player can CARRY a team. Most need a couple of other players to make them become even better EX. Sedin + Sedin Willie>Bieksa
It would be interesting to see what kind of record the UMD would have if Mason was not on it, or if Grabner had Raymond feeding him pucks :D

Long story short, I have heard rumours from UMD fans saying they WOULD be surprised in Raymond came back next season. Appearently, he isn't to happy about the performance of the team (wants to be on a winning team). As well as the fact that the Canuck staff has mentioned Raymond several times this year.......

Just don't be surprised if you see him on the Moose next season

If Arniel (I believe that's the coach of the moose?) didn't play Raymond on the top line of the moose considering the type of points he's putting up in NCAA, he'd be a retard. That being said, I can't say much about what he's done for Hansen as far as ice time is concerned. Being on the 3rd line to improve your defensive game isn't such a bad thing, but giving him no time to actually play so that he can isn't.

I'd be excited to see what the moose could do next year pending Grabner Raymond and Shirokov come to the moose. If one of the 3 didn't come it wouldn't be such a big deal though, they'd still rip it up.

Arniel is a joke.. well maybe the moose are doing pretty good, but i think he should be developing prospects better..

i think thats were our major prospect problems coming from(not talking about arniel)

drafting is 25% and development is 75% of future nhlers.. thats why detroit are so good

their drafting is alright.. but the way the develop their prospects is amazing

alot of their prospects come in at the age of 24 - 26.. they let the spend alot of time overseas and in the minors before they get the nod for detroit

vancouver has always had the problem of expecting too much out fo their prospects.. expecting them to play next year

anyway.. i think arniel should give more time to players who actually have a chance at making the big club rather than old career ahlers.. otherwise nonis should address this

Gero Hertle:

Very difficult to say when Rahimi's season in Sweden will be over. It could be over by the middle of next week.

There's a four-team playoff for the last spot in the so-called "Kvalserien". Bjorkloven will face Växjö in the first round. Bjorkloven finished six points ahead of Växjö in the standings, but they have lost all three regular season games against them (2-7; 0-2; 1-2). So that is a team they certainly don't like.
If they manage to advance to the second round, they in all likelihood will have to play against Västeras. Bjorkloven finished nine points behind Västeras in the standings, but they won two of the three games against them (5-0; 3-1; 3-4).

If they indeed qualify for the Kvalserien with the two weakest teams of the SEL and the three other top teams of the minor league, they would have ten more games in the Kvalserien and their season would go well until the end of March.

So Bjorkloven's season could be over by next Wednesday, or could last until the end of next month. They closed out the regular season with a 4-6-1 record in the last eleven games and don't look very sharp at the moment. So given their mediocre play in recent weeks and their bad record against Växjö, I expect them to drop out early.
