Hey Toxic,

Who has impressed you the most of all the draft eligible players in the mem cup so far. Obviously Repik and Mahachek stand out but anyone else grab your attention? I only ask this as TV doesn't do players justice compared to seeing them live.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

Perron obviously, but other than those 3

Brett Regner has been VERY good throughout this playoff run for Vancouver

Tyler Ennis an '08 draft pick for Medicine Hat has been very good, and was in the series vs. Vancouver as well

Jon Blum also, but everyone knows him, he'll be a 10-20 pick

The problem is it's only been 2 games, not a good enough time frame to judge players

Wait and see till the end

Let us know if you see anyone we might draft with a late pick. Or any pick for that matter. I do trust your judgement.
QUOTE (Tripwyre)
Can't spell Kesler without Selke.

QUOTE (VictorHedman @ Aug 23 2008, 12:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

Too many players, too few picks

Anyone notice that the Canucks moved up to 21 on Hockeysfuture? I think that's the first time they've moved up in the 5 years I've been visiting that site.

It’s less then a month away from the entry draft.

I can’t wait. June is always a very exciting time in hockey.

Yeah. I don't really care too much about the finals. Naturally, I want Ottawa to win, but the real fun begins at the draft and July 1st.

Not saying we should draft him or anything, but Repik's been a monster at the Memorial Cup. The rankings may be final but his stock has to have risen a whole lot. I have a feeling the NYR are gonna snatch him.

Does THN say anyhting else aboot the prospects

And with that quote oyu posted Tim (p.s. thanks for posting that) i guess we can expect Nonis to draft a more skilled Center above a big center this draft, which IMO means Moller is going to be the leading candidate, followed possibly by someone like Andersson, but Sutter and MacMillan are prolly out of the question

I;d be fine with Moller

And i still think we need to draft 2x RD's this year, that side of the chart is bare
