It’s less then a month away from the entry draft.

I can’t wait. June is always a very exciting time in hockey.

Yeah. I don't really care too much about the finals. Naturally, I want Ottawa to win, but the real fun begins at the draft and July 1st.

the only encounter i was worried about was Umberger/Wellwood..

Not saying we should draft him or anything, but Repik's been a monster at the Memorial Cup. The rankings may be final but his stock has to have risen a whole lot. I have a feeling the NYR are gonna snatch him.

Not exactly happy to hear that at all but whatev. If we draft some guys who consistently pot 30g, idrc.

Can't spell Kesler without Selke.

Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

Does THN say anyhting else aboot the prospects

And with that quote oyu posted Tim (p.s. thanks for posting that) i guess we can expect Nonis to draft a more skilled Center above a big center this draft, which IMO means Moller is going to be the leading candidate, followed possibly by someone like Andersson, but Sutter and MacMillan are prolly out of the question

I;d be fine with Moller

And i still think we need to draft 2x RD's this year, that side of the chart is bare
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)
You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

They better sign Bliznak soon or else I believe he either re-enters the draft or becomes a free agent (can't remember which one...)

Not sure if posted, but here is a good article on him from HF:

http://www.hockeysfu...m/articles/9687

Quote

HF: Who is your favorite NHL team?
MR: Vancouver and Rangers probably.
:P :P :P

Little do people know we already have our "Repik". Simek reminds me alittle bit like him. I wouldn't be surprised to see if the Nucks take him with their early 2nd round pick as he will most likely still be on the board FYI, (I'm not saying they should).

I met the HF Canucks writer, the same guy who's so far done all the Mem Cup stories

Great guy

Simek and Repik IMO cant be compared, Simek is more of a power player, Repik is finesse

until he's signed I wouldn't put money on him playing in North America, no matter what he said. How many times has Koltsov 'supposed' to come to camp without showing now?
