Speaking of which, for an ECHL team. They have had a pretty good off-season for signings and should have a very solid season next year.
Salmon Kings add grit and size with re-signings

Jordan, left, and Derek Krestanovich will don Salmon Kings uniforms once again this season.
The Victoria Salmon Kings continued their off-season recruiting plan. They are retaining the core group, which got the club into the ECHL playoffs for the first time last season, and then banking on the parent Vancouver Canucks sending down enough good prospects to put the Victoria team over the top.
The Salmon Kings yesterday announced the re-signing of Jordan and Derek Krestanovich,. The gritty, hard-skating siblings from Surrey had an impact on the Salmon Kings last season after being acquired in a November trade from the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
"Jordan had several overseas opportunities but opted to stay with us and be part of our quest for the Kelly Cup. And that's a testament to where we're going as an organization," said Victoria GM Dan Belisle.
"They are solid and skilled forwards and stabilized our team by giving us another line of offence that we could count on. This is a vital signing for us."
The six-foot-one Jordan, 26, was the fifth-round draft pick of the Colorado Avalanche out of the junior Calgary Hitmen in 1999 and is entering his eight season as a pro, including 22 games in the NHL. The rangy forward's stops have included the Hershey Bears and Houston Aeros of the AHL and the Swedish and Italian Elite Leagues. He had 44 points in 60 regular-season and playoff games last season for Victoria.
Two-way forward Derek, 24, was the third-round draft pick of the Washington Capitals out of the junior Moose Jaw Warriors in 2002. Also six-foot-one, the defence-minded Derek paired effectively with brother Jordan last season and had 22 points in 58 regular-season and playoff games.
The announcement gives the Salmon Kings two sets of brothers for the upcoming season with Wes and Ash Goldie previously signed.
The Salmon Kings now have eight players - the Krestanovich brothers, leading scorer Wes Goldie, captain Kiel McLeod, forward Milan Gajic, goaltender Bryan Bridges and defencemen Phil Cole and Paul Ballantyne - under contract and returning from last season's roster that showed a reasonable amount of promise. The lone newcomer inked so far is former NCAA Michigan State Spartans forward Ash Goldie, a prize free-agent catch who has proven he can score at the pro level.
"We're re-assembling the nucleus from last season, with more signing announcements coming soon," said Belisle.
"The question mark now is the prospects we'll be sent to top it off. That's what will make the Canucks training camp [at Bear Mountain Arena next month] so interesting for us because we'll be able to then see the prospects potentially coming from Vancouver and Manitoba [the AHL's Moose]."
