Watch what you say.
He has piss poor hockey sense. That is holding him back from being a great prospect
The thing about Bourdon that everyone seems to forget is he is now on his 5th team this year. In Moncton he played the role of a point a game offensive defender, in Cape Breton he has been asked to be a shutdown defender. Both of which he seems to excel at, and he is only 19 !!! and defenceman take longer in their development. The only reason he is not the Canucks # 1 prospect is because the jury is still out on Schneider.

Very difficult to say when Rahimi's season in Sweden will be over. It could be over by the middle of next week.
There's a four-team playoff for the last spot in the so-called "Kvalserien". Bjorkloven will face Växjö in the first round. Bjorkloven finished six points ahead of Växjö in the standings, but they have lost all three regular season games against them (2-7; 0-2; 1-2). So that is a team they certainly don't like.
If they manage to advance to the second round, they in all likelihood will have to play against Västeras. Bjorkloven finished nine points behind Västeras in the standings, but they won two of the three games against them (5-0; 3-1; 3-4).
If they indeed qualify for the Kvalserien with the two weakest teams of the SEL and the three other top teams of the minor league, they would have ten more games in the Kvalserien and their season would go well until the end of March.
So Bjorkloven's season could be over by next Wednesday, or could last until the end of next month. They closed out the regular season with a 4-6-1 record in the last eleven games and don't look very sharp at the moment. So given their mediocre play in recent weeks and their bad record against Växjö, I expect them to drop out early.
Toxic,
Can you pust the link to Gero's blog?. I have lost it in my links.

do you think Bourdon will be on the team next year?
iam wondering because with all this talk about Koltsov coming over here, and Edler maybe even gettting a spot, and maybe Bourdon. Do we really want 50% of our defence to be rookies?
I think it will benefit Bourdon to play a year in the AHL, or at least some of the year in the AHL.
if all 3 dmen make it, lines will be something like
Ohlund-Edler
Mitchell-Koltsov
Bieksa-Bourdon
Krajicek
what do you think the defence will be like next year?
I am also really hoping Koltsov comes over to North American soils, this kid has all sorts of skills, hed be great on teh canucks. And with some talk of the salary cap in russia (is this true?). We might see him and maybe even chubarov back.

Malkin. Semin. Ovechkin. Kovalchuk.
RIP Alexei Cherepanov and Michael Jackson

Pakistani-Pride, not ACTUALLY bashing Luc. WOW.
Koltsov is a crap shoot. If you would have asked me before the Nonis int. last week I would have said he would be here, but the way Nonis talked about him it didn't seem too promising. Things depend on if Salo resigns or not. Nonis stated that Bourdon would have played out the remaining of THIS year if he was able to play in a top 4 role. He wanted him in that role for his development, so long story short I don't see BOTH "kids" being in the lineup if Nonis is true to his words. Best "kid" at camp wins
