If he opts out of College, he can go to the WHL, his rights are owned by the Thunderbirds, but he has always wanted the college route

Join up with Hickey and Helenius, would be a good team.
If White is not getting sufficient icetime there (like in the situation of Jim O'Brien), he should consider that an option.

The problem was NOT icetime with O'brien, it was the fact he wants to play Center and the Gophers wanted him to play D, he can play C at Seattle, he had to leave. White will not become a D or a goalie, he may play the odd time on the wing, but Minnesota's recent history is littered with Center's turned to wingers and vice-versa, and few have worked out well, they need a natural, talented center in their system for the next 3-4 years, White gives them the best option for that. When an organization like UM holds you in such high regard to consider you their future #1 center in the coming years and the catalyst AND spark to their offensive machine, you dont leave them simply because the Canucks MAYBE want you closer to them. The Canucks arent fools, they know UM will do more good for Pat than the T-Birds organization.
Pat White will most likely become UM's #2 center by the end of the year, AS A FRESHMAN, no reason he should leave the GG's
Preposterous thinking

I didn't watch it buuuut
Edler apperently was a rock out there, excellent on the PP, blasting shots on goal, had an assist.
Balej had an assist (but hes not really a prospect)
Bourdon played 7:30+ in the 1st period alone, then rocked former Canuck 1st rounder Brad Ferrence, picking up 17PIMs.
Grabner a -2.
Coloumbe who cares.
