White centred the 3rd line tonight.

-1 with 1 shot.

Okposo Stoa Barriball line was hot tonight.

BustZorS! ;)

I don't imagine White will be getting a lot of prime minutes on that Gopher team, they got one hell of a line-up. If White can put up like 8 goals and 20 points, I would consider that a big success. His 2nd and possibly 3rd year will be more telling when he has better minutes.

You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

A good freshman season is 10-15 pts.

Well unless the Canucks continue to play like they have been for the rest of the year we WILL not get Beach as much as I'd also like him. He'll be gone after #4 on the board.

On an Canucks prospect note I hope either they commit to playing Raymond or send him down for some quality minutes.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

Well that would depend on your definition of good ...

I don't expect White to do much better than that considering his ice time, and if he does score 10-15 points it would be an achievement, but you can hardly call 10-15 points a good freshman season in any other circumstances. At least not for a 1st round NHL draft pick

He'll be gone before (hopefully) our 30th pick.

And there are questions about his attitude. I hate kids with poor attitudes.

What other 6'3 200 Centres are available in this draft

If Nonis makes a serious pitch like he did with Kyle Turris he may be able to snatch him with the 4th overall pick.

There is also Joel Champagne who will be a first rounder,

Joel Champagne
Center
Born Jan 24 1990 -- LaSalle, PQ
Height 6.03 -- Weight 205 -- Shoots L

A power forward with great physical presence an ability to protect the puck, shows good stickhandling skill, does not give up on the play and has an impressive work ethic.A player you notice every game.Somehow unpolished,he displays solid effort and
commitment

Theres also Mikhal Stefanovich who may be the perfect linemate for the Sedins bu if he continues the season he has right now he may bolt up to top 10.

Mikhail Stefanovich
Right Wing
Born Nov 27 1989 -- Minsk, Belarus
Height 6.02 -- Weight 202 -- Shoots R

Plays the game at a very fast pace. A great sniper, he has a hard, accurate shot, needs to use it more. Can often change the course of the game with one shift.
Mikhail looks to have that innate sense that all elite offensive threats have. He possesses an elusive agility and exciting one-on-one moves.

It's a good season for someone whos playing on the 3rd line in his first year in the NCAA 1 summer removed from High School

Also, generally most freshman (high picks and non high picks) have between 5 and 15 pt. seasons

I expect him to move onto the 2nd line eventually, and thus i am expecting a 20-30 pt season

White got the GWG in a 4-3 win over Michigan to be 2007 Icebreaker champions, which means nothing but it sounds cool

Patrick White got the GWG tonight against Michigan.

Quote

Minnesota reclaimed the two-goal lead at 5:27. Justin Bostrom was ridden off the puck just inside the blue line, but Tony Lucia picked it up and fired a shot that was blocked by the Michigan defense. That left a loose puck in the high slot, and rookie Patrick White fired through a screen for his first collegiate goal.

On a non-Canuck related note.

Finnish import goalie and Tbay 1st rounder is ripping it up in the WHL early on in the season

1.58Gaa .938sv 4W 0L 1OTL

Irving 3.04Gaa .891 4W 4L.

Seems like Tbay has a keeper of a keeper.

Roman Voloshenko and the Wild have parted ways

The punk was mad he wasnt in the NHL, he had the potential to be a top-line player, now it's wasted as he's buggered off to Russia, balling his eyes out
