I would think that since AV said that they would atleast be calling one D up that itz got to be Luc. He is the Moose #1 defenseman right now and is also playing very confident.

Good Luck kid

Yep, Bourdon will easily get the call.

This is brutal though.

In other news..... Coulombe's been sent to the Moose to replace Bourdon for the time being.

This board has pretty much gone to sh*t.

Absoloute panic mode.

Everyone just giving up and suggesting that either we A: trade all of our prospects away to get impact players for the year or

B: Go into complete rebuild and purposely tank to get Steven Stamkos.

Its just idiotic, it was exactly like this last year too.

agreed, they have Bourdon on a one game leash I think he will do fine if not impress. He's done well in the AHL, give him some roll minutes like on the PP and it should be great for his development. I'm one who thinks Bourdon will be a far superior pick to Allen like everyone else seems to be comparing him too.

I agree with you to some extent. But last season's situation was much different. Before we went on that run before Christmas, we weren't winning many games but there were still many good things in the team. We were outplaying and out-chancing our opponents every night but just didn't have any puck luck. Our defense and goaltending was rock solid. Then after Christmas the team came together and we started to score more and Luongo took his game totally to anther level and we had that incredible run.

Right now there is nothing at all that you can say is good about this team. We can't score and we can't play defense. Last night we just lost three of our top defensemen in Krajicek, Salo and Bieksa. Also Luongo seems to be slightly injured, his game is no where near where it needs to be. If you can convince me that Edler, Bourdon and McIver can step in and all be top four defensemen and Nonic can pull another rabbit from the hat and go out and get a top six forward then it's all good. But right now there is nothing optimistic about this team. I see no point in trying to patch up a few of the holes by giving up the farm.

It's nice to see that three rookies from the Moose are in the top 20 rookie scoring, (Grabner, P.C. Labrie, Luc Bourdon). I believe that Grabner is making a bigger impact on the Moose then Raymond has and Grabner is the youngest player on the team.

Raymond has only played three games. Recording three points in that time.

Although Gendur's 7goals/17 assists/ 24 points in 16 games are probably more cause of his teammates. (Beach has 25, Hamill has 20) At least we know the guy can put up points with good linemates

Grabner's played every game for the Moose thus far and Raymond has played in a handful.

Of course Grabner would be making the bigger impact.

I also think Luongo has made a bigger impact for the Canucks than Sanford. Duh?

If only Simek or Raymond could play center. It would be fun to watch a pure offensive line of Simek Raymond Grabner.
