actually, Raymond has 7 points in 14 games including last season

Depends on if you count his playoffs. Then it would be 27GP 2G 6A 8 Points.

Although Gendur's 7goals/17 assists/ 24 points in 16 games are probably more cause of his teammates. (Beach has 25, Hamill has 20) At least we know the guy can put up points with good linemates

I've mentioned that several times in this thread. I'd love to see him be successful at higher levels, but I have low expectations for him. I'm surprised Everett are third in their division with that great first line. Leland Irving has not been on form, or perhaps his stats were elevated behind an amazing defensive jugernaught last year that had Mueller, Guittez amongst others who left the team.

But man does Beach ever take bonehead penalties...

Helenius (Tbay 1st in 2006) has been great for the Thunderbirds.

Anyone else a little surpise at the point production Dana Tyrell has been putting up for PG?

One of the knocks against him is that his offensive instincts and hands wern't great going into that draft. 15GP 11G 13A 24P

If only Simek or Raymond could play center. It would be fun to watch a pure offensive line of Simek Raymond Grabner.

Thats the knock about our system. No centres on the horizon except for Patrick White and to a lesser Extent C-A Mess and Kablukov.

Raymond is definitly more of playmaker than a scorer and that line would be pretty good could one of them play at C.

Raymond is the set up man.

Grabner is the shooter,

Simek is the dangler.

C-A Messiers team scores 8 goals, CA nowhere to be seen.

Edit: Brace yourselves, David Perron just scored.

I'm not too suprised, I figured that with Setoguchi gone he would probably have a bigger role to fill. I know his hands aren't great, but his speed more than makes up for it. Ty Wishart has been doing pretty good too.

Good night for the CDC "bust" Bourdon. Despite minimal ice time, he played very well in the minutes given. Hopefully Vigneault puts Bourdon on the 1st unit PP (will relieve some pressure from Ohlund). Edler was absolutely amazing today, making all the right plays and didn't look out of place at all.

Edler goes on the first PP before Bourdon.

Kesler had a great chance to set up Luc for a one timer, but passed on it.

Was really hoping to see his shot.

Hansen had a solid game, drew a couple penalties, strong on the puck, shifty.

Mario Bliznak had the game tying goal and the shootout winning goal in a 2-1 Vancouver Giant Victory.

Taylor Matson, nothing in his last 3 games over the weekend. 9gp 2G 2A 4P -4 on the year so far.

And M-A Bernier is just being a bum, should pretty much be removed from the prospects thread. 1 point in 7 games....in the ECHL...I mean come on....he's just toiling there.

TSN has added their scouting report for Raymond

Assets Has exceptional skating ability and offensive instincts. Is equally adept at scoring goals and setting up linemates from the wing.

Flaws Is paper thin and must bulk up in order to survive the rigors of the NHL game. Must also improve his play without the puck.

Career potential Top six forward.

And Hansen

Assets Possesses a wealth of hockey sense and playmaking ability from the wing position. Is also a defensively aware player who makes his linemates better.

Flaws Doesn't have a lot of size or jam, which could hurt his ability to thrive at the NHL level. Has a tendency to pass up shots in order to distribute the puck.

Career potential Top six winger.

Hansen's has been up for a couple months now and Raymond's at least a month.

Edler and Bourdon also have theirs up...

EDLER

ASSETS: Owns a very projectable frame. Is smooth and steady at the back end, and has the makings of a sound all-around defender with offensive upside.
FLAWS: Must add more strength to thrive in the North American game. Needs to avoid injuries in order to maximize his all-around potential.
CAREER POTENTIAL: Top four defenseman.

BOURDON

ASSETS: Has excellent mobility. Knows how to play physical hockey. Also displays some offensive potential and the ability to log loads of ice time.
FLAWS: Has mental lapses in his game, which he'll need to correct in order to maximize his potential. Must learn when to pinch in from the point.
CAREER POTENTIAL: Top four defenseman.

They've only been playing for a month ... and Hansen's only been up for a week ... and Raymond's not even on the team right now!

Wait ... what was the point of this thread in the first place?

Mario super as Giants battle to road victory

Quote

Bliznak, under fire for his lack of production since returning to junior from the AHL, has clicked on a line with Repik and Spencer Machacek.

"Mario's playing really well," said Hay. "He's taken and winning a lot of faceoffs.

"Putting Machacek and Repik with Mario, we feel it just gives us one line that can play in every situation."

The 20-year-old centre had the lone goal Saturday and the deciding goal in the shootout. On Sunday, he assisted on both of Repik's goals.

White has 1 goal (a GWG) this season. (Has as many goals as Okposo :P )

He has 2PIM

And is a +1, most of his teamates are in the negatives.

Minnesota has played 8 games.

Last place in their conference(WCHA (or at least in intra-conference games)) But 4-4 overall. I thought they were supposed to be a powerhouse?
