Can anyone tell me more about Dan Gendur?

7th rounder in 07'
5'10 195.
Right Handed RW from Victoria BC.
Plays as an overager for the Silvertips on a line with first round pick Zach Hamill and 08' lock for top 5 pick Kyle Beach.

19gp 7g 17a 24p -3 18PIM

Good numbers, but he's an overager playing w/two first rounders.

Think we'll see him in a Canuck's jersey anytime soon?

No, probably never

Nope.

And if he did, it would be a bottom 6 role.

AHL for Gendur next year and we'll go from there.

To be honest with you, if he even plays as much as Lee Goren did as a constant call-up from the minors I would be happy. Having a seventh-rounder even play in the NHL at one point is a great accomplishment.

PCL has been a surprisingly good player for the Moose...good to see.

Just wondering who might have a good chance at sticking with the Canucks next year?

D-Mac?
Raymond?
anyone else?

Well, with the possible huge shake-up of the team, I'd say anyone who has a strong season on the Moose has a pretty good chance. I'd say it's even possible for Simek and Grabner depending on the look of next year's team. I'd say Shannon will be on there anyways. Luc will probably get a roster spot, as will Edler (Looks like he's already sticking). Guys like Jaffray and Moran seem like AHLers for life though.
You are.

IMO

D-mac
Raymond
Hansen
Bourdon (if nonis opens a top four spot)
Simek (longshot, but if deffense improves has a shot)
Grabner (see Simek)

I think probably one top 6 spot will be open for one of the young players Raymond/Simek/Grabner come to mind.

And also one top 9 spot (I/E 2nd/3rd line) which hopefully Hansen wins.

Edler is a lock for the team, Bourdon should be able to take a 5/6 spot if thats the direction we are going to take the team in (younger and faster)

For Bourdon to make the team, one of Salo Ohlund Mitchell Krajicek Bieksa will have to be moved.

As for Dmac, I hope he really wants to make the NHL and will go through a year of about 10 games.

I'd really love to see Shirokov and Kablukov in camp next year. If we don't get Shiro over this year, I don't think we'll ever see him.

Oh and Rahimi was re-assigned to the Salmon Kings today.

So if Raymond sticks next year...
How does a line of...Pyatt Kesler Raymond...sound?

(I don't think Isbister will be around next year...eventhough he is playing pretty well these days)

Depends on how much Raymond bulks up in the offseason.

Yeah. At 6 feet, he could stand to put on some muscle. That could be a good all-around type line though.
