Matson tied for team lead in points

On a seriously weak team, this has got to be impressive

For the record, Gendur now is tied with Beach for points (having played 4 less games than him no less) and has 4 points more than Hamill. I don't care if he is an over-ager, or if he's playing with some amazing talent, I am starting to get excited about this guy's potential.

You never know maybe he'll be a late bloomer like Fabian Brunnstrom and turns out to be a steal. He's already looking 1000 times better than the Evan Fuller pick.

Jesse Schultz scoredalot of points as an overager on a good Kelowna team

Anyone know anything about Nicklas Danielsson? He's playing in the Swedish Elite League and has about 2/3rds of a point per game. Get him over here and let him play, see what happens.

I think we should send him down and he does not have to clear waivers, he is still on his entry-level contract. However if it happened that he did have to go on waivers and he got picked up, I wouldn't care.

I usually don't like losing players on the Canucks, but I really don't like Raymond. He frustrates me.

Also Raymond will never get more then 25 goals in his career, and probably never more then 50 points.

Yeah, we'll see about that....

"Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive."

A Reasonable 09-10 Canucks Roster (basically doing nothing, which usually happens)

Sedin - Sedin - Samuelsson
Burrows - Kesler - Bernier
Raymond - Hodgson - Hansen
Hordichuk - Johnson - Rypien
Wellwood, Bolduc

Bieksa - Mitchell
Salo - Edler
O'Brien - Nycholat
Rahimi

Luongo
Schneider

leaves 4mil in cap room, and a pretty competitive team. msg me if you hate it lol

We offered him a contract in this offseason I believe.

He's putting up some good numbers in the SEL though.

We offered him a contract 2 years ago, he turned it down

Just wondering.. after watching the "In the System" segment during the 2nd intermission... I thought Evan Fuller has already been released by the club? But then I checked the "IN the System" section of canucks.com and he is still listed under there. I know NHL database updates that page and not the Canucks anymore, but they should have updated it by now if he has been released? ... Unless we still own his rights? *doesn't get it*

:\ Totally loved how they also said Schneids was born in Michigan and played in University of Michigan...

Touche. But alls I'm saying is it's nice to see a Nucks prospect near the top of the stats board.

Well it's nice to see people actually know who Grabner is on the real boards now. "IF" the Canucks were to recall him, Bourdon, or Jaffray, it's time to give our youth a real chance at playing with the big club. The Canucks have been one of the worst franchises lately at giving their youth an oppertunity(5 game stint isn't an oppertunity). If you don't think other contending clubs don't do this just take a look at Detroit with Datsyuk, Zetterberg,Franzen or SJ with Bernier, Michalek, or Pavelski. All these players were given at least a season chance or a 20 game stint before they were sent back down. If I hear the arguement that Datsyuk or Zetterberg are stars of course they had the oppertunity, remember they both were very late picks and late bloomers. Both didn't exactly light up the leagues they played in before.

Is Gendur playing on the first line because of being an over-ager with experience that can do the garbage job (like Clark last year playing on the same line as Ovechkin) or are his skills WHL top line worthy?

I mean, does this years performance indicate that he was a late bloomer who has top six talent in the NHL or is he just benefiting from being an experienced over-ager playing with talented players (inflated stats)?

He does have skills, he has good speed and a booming shot, but is undersized and risks being labeled a PP player.

He will take the long road to the NHL.

5'11 190 pounds (if that's accurate) isn't that small.

We'll see.

Regardless, he will be in the AHL/ECHL next year.
