I personally like Hansen and his speed and skill more than Simek, but Simek is a very good prospect.

shirokov wont come to NA

Canucks drafted him because Shirokov said he would come to the Moose to learn the NHL game.

I thought Shirikov is putting up Ovechkin/Malkin type numbers at the Russian Elite league level.  Shouldn't he be put higher up on the prospects depth chart for the Canucks?

I think so. He's the prospect I'm looking forward to most.

Everyone should just plug their ears in regards to Hiroshima, he's obviously a troll and anyone who names themselves after Hiroshima should not be considered smart or listened to
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

Luc Bourdon is only 19 and I wouldn't really be that worried about his development pace right now. There is no point rushing Bourdon to the NHL next season and it would be best for his career if he waited out another year and played top minutes on the farm team.

Bourdon has a 2 way contract for 3 years right? If this is the case then having him be a call up defenseman is probably the best for his development next season.

I'd throw Grabner in their. I don't think ANYONE on this board has actually seen Raymond play. Speed doesn't mean s*** all if they can't finish **Cough Reid Cough**

Anyways, I like the way the Canucks have drafted the last couple of years regarding fast players. Grabner is the fastest player in the entire WHL. Nuff" Said.

I'd say it's hard to say which prospect is more talented. Raymond Simek or Grabner. They all seem really skilled. I hope they show as much at next years camp and when they eventually make the team.

I was particularly impressed by Simek at the World Juniors. It's not as though he's playing with a particularly strong offensive team in that case but he still had a strong showing. That was very encouraging to me and suggested to me a strong all around offensive game.

Is there a chance that Luc Bourdon can play Michael Grabner in the memorial cup?

Unless Spokane puts on the glass slipper for the playoffs there is very little chance of his happening. THere is more of a chance of Grabner playing for the Moose in the playoffs.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

Not really because Spokane isn't good enough to make it that far. You could see Bourdon play Simek though, because Brandon could compete for a Mem Cup spot.
