I think his team is almost out of it...so soon I hope.
Rahimi will monsterize the AHL. Excited to see a top notch shut down guy play for the moose.
I would like to see Rahimi paired with Edler. Mess with Edler and Rahimi is going to **** you up
Edler seems to get knocked around.... but once he fills out he will be an even better player.

The link didn't work, but I'll post the whole article anyways:
RED-HOT RAYMOND RECEIVES WCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
http://www.umdbulldo...1&story_id=3143
Mason Raymond, whose five-point performance helped propel the University of Minnesota Duluth to a weekend sweep of the University of Alaska Anchorage, has been selected the Red Baron Pizza Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Offensive Player of the Week.
The University of Minnesota Duluth sophomore left winger assisted on all three of his club's goals in a 3-2 triumph over the visiting Seawolves Friday and then scored once and held set up another tally as the Bulldogs won 5-0 the next night. He finished the weekend a +2 in addition to putting a team-leading 10 shots on goal.
Raymond, a native of Cochrane, Alberta and the second round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2005 National Hockey League draft, has now moved into second place in the WCHA overall scoring race with 43 points on 14 goals and 29 assists -- all career highs. The 2005-06 WCHA All-Rookie Team selection currently leads the WCHA in both assists and power play points (26) and has also been involved in more of his team's overall goals (45.3 percent) than any league skater. Raymond, who received the same weekly WCHA honor earlier last month (Jan. 9), has marked in the scoring column in 10 of the last 14 games, rolling up 25 points (eight goals and 17 assists) during that stretch
Raymond and the Bulldogs will put the wraps on the 2006-07 regular season this Friday and Saturday night by hosting defending NCAA champion Wisconsin.
So his season is done after that correct?. No playoffs for UMD?.

Mason Raymond and the Bulldogs
They are scheduled to play St Cloud Huskies (No. 2 ranked team in the nation) in St. Cloud at the National Hockey Center. Best of 3. Fri Mar 9, Sat Mar 10 and Sun Mar 11 if necessary. If they win they would advance to the Red Baron WCHA Final Five to be held at the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn March 15-17.

He is our biggest defenseman out of our top 3 prospects right now..
6'2 211lbs- Bourdon
6'3 213lbs- Rahimi
6'3 220lbs- Edler
I understand the style of play is different amongst these 3 but to get knocked over so much for being such a big mobile kid?

LMFAO, ever seen Edler play live?. Edler is not 220. The Moose have him listed at 194 FYI. Bourdon is around 220. Bourdon/Rahimi's body are "filled out". Edler is very tall, but is only around 195, and I think he is even lighter then that. It doesn't matter if you are 6"3, or 6"4 ect ect. If you are very "skinny" then you need to but on more "muscle weight". This is something Rahimi has, and to a certain point Luc does.
Again, if you have ever seen Edler play on the Moose you would know what I am talking about.

I have watched him with the Canucks. He does look sort of skinny but then again its also hard to tell with all that hockey gear on to know how big a kid really is.
Sorry I just pulled those stats off the Canucks.com prospect chart.
