Wish i could watch those games, some of them are wonky
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

Is it true Rahimi signed a 3 year contract with the Canucks? If he did what was the reason for it?

I am just wondering what kind of attitude this Koltsov character will have.  Will he female dog and whine like a lot of Russians have done recently and fly back to Russia to play if things don't go his way?

He has been there and done that already.

Rosters freeze tomorrow

American Hockey League teams must declare their 22-man rosters for the rest of the season and playoffs tomorrow afternoon.

Moose coach Scott Arniel said the Manitoba hockey braintrust (with some Vancouver input) have already had discussions on who will be on it. Regardless if they decide to acquire a player or two prior to the 2 p.m. deadline, there still will be a few tough decisions the club has to make.

Up front, the club is awfully deep and will have to answer a few tricky questions. Has the suddenly effective Alexandre Bolduc done enough to stay? How can they jump-start Jannik Hansen's offensive numbers once again? Recently assigned Marc Chouinard will probably be back up in Vancouver once the playoffs arrive, so is he really in the Moose mix? Rick Rypien and Tyler Bouck have long-term injuries, so where do they stand?

The Moose have 16 forwards on the roster and there are ways to manage the numbers for a full advantage. Look for them to be a little creative.

Defensively, the usual operation is to put seven players on the clear day list. Right now there are eight bodies to choose from. The Canucks do have prospects who could play in Manitoba (junior star Luc Bourdon and Swede Daniel Rahimi) once their seasons end with their respective clubs, so they will be considered, as well.

Wade Flaherty and Drew MacIntyre are the goaltenders.

So...pending any trades before the draft, how many draft picks do we have for this upcoming draft?

1st Round
2nd Round
2nd Round
3rd Round
5th Round
6th Round
7th Round

I think..

Not bad.

Wrong.

1st round pick
2nd round pick (LA)
2nd round pick
5th round pick
5th round pick (ATL)
6th round pick
7th round pick

Those will be our picks this year.

What happened to our 3rd round pick?

"22-Aug-05: Chicago Blackhawks traded Steve McCarthy to the Vancouver Canucks for a 3rd round selection in 2007. "

One assist for Simek tonight. Grabby gets the 2 goals and there's still one more period to go. :D

LMFAO, come home to find Grabner with another hattrick!!!!!!!

With time to play!

And that makes him 1 behind the leader no?

Edit: 2nd in the WHL behind Mark Derlago who has more games played, so if Grabner gets 1 more he takes the overall lead.

Is there an award for leading scorer in the dub?

Screw Speedy Mcspeedy or w/e.

Grabners nickname should be GOALZ!!!GOALZ!!!GOALZ!!!

PS: Anybody can use my userbar if they want. It's something I made up real quick so if you anybody wants to use it and support the prospects, no problem.

watched Evt vs Kamloops tonight. I have to say Hamill is going to be for sure in the top 10 picks. If he slips to middle of the first round he'd be a steal. Scored the GWG and was a force out there, especially without Mueller and Beechy in the line-up.

Thanks to mr7 for the sig
