The music in this vid bothered me too much. Not sure why showing a missed penalty shot from Shirokov is a highlight. Thanks for the video none the less. Some nice footage of Koltsov.

Koltsov with 3rd consecutive multiple-point game
Rearguard Kirill Koltsov closed out the Russian Super League's regular season with three multiple-point games in a row, collecting two assists in the regular season finale, a 4-5 Omsk defeat at Novokuznetsk.
Koltsov has a goal and five assists in the last three games and finished in 16th place on the RSL scoring chart with nine goals and 31 assists in 51 games.
Despite missing 14 games due to a knee injury, center Artem Chubarov managed to finish just outside the Top 20 on the 23rd spot with nine goals and 27 assists in 40 games.
As the third Canuck-related player, winger Sergei Shirokov also cracked the Top 30 with 16 goals and 18 assists in 52 games.
The RSL postseason begins on Sunday, and all six Russian Canuck prospects are qualified with their respective teams.

On the ice or in the classroom, the University of Minnesota Duluth sophomore class is equally accomplished.
Of the 10 second-year players on the 2006-07 Bulldog roster, seven have earned Western Collegiate Hockey Association All-Academic Team recognition. To qualify for this honor a student-athlete must have completed at least one year of residency at his present insitution prior to the current academic year and have a grade point average of at least a 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) for the previous two semesters/three quarters. A total of 88 WCHA players representing all 10 league institutions were named to this year's team.
The seven Bulldogs include wingers Andrew Carroll (physical education-Shoreview, Minn.), Michael Gergen (business-Hastings, Minn.), Matt Greer (physical education-Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and Mason Raymond (communication-Cochrane, Alberta), center MacGregor Sharp (business-Red Deer, Alberta) and defensemen Jason Garrison (exercise science-White Rock, British Columbia) and Matt Niskanen (physical education-Mountain Iron, Minn.).

Game's over
BC wins 7-1
Cory did not play for the final 10 min. I don't believe he was injured, maybe just wanted to give him some rest....
UMD is leading 2-1
