personally I think they were one of the top 5 jerseys all time in the history of the NHL.
I own 3 Flying V jerseys.
two are the Mitchell and Ness Tiger Williams #22 versions home/away....

and the other is a Todd Bertuzzi CCM Throwback, gold home #44.....

If I were to customize one of the jerseys I go with one of the following players:
Brodeur
Smyl
Bromley(personal favorite)
Tanti
Garrett
& I would also recommend .........Luongo(how cool would a Loungo Flying V jersey be?)
ths V jerseys look great plain, but they look AWESOME customized.

Gradin was said.
I would go with Gradin, Tanti, Smyl or williams. unmentioned Doug Lisdter, Darcey Rota, Steve Tambellini. Greg Adams was there at the end of the 80's.
I think I would get a Williams, Tanti or Smyl. Eventually I am going to do a vintage with Kurtanbach. I have a vintage withc will be a Linden with a C. Then I need an Orca Nazy, and flying V of Smyl to have a full captain Collection.
