NucksPatsFan
Nope. Still makes more sense to kick the ****ing ball. The biggest issue I have is that Belichek insulted his own players by making that call.

NucksPatsFan
Argh, I hate when your so passionate and into a team that this stuff bugs you so much. I can pretty much guarantee a win against the miserable jets at home after an ending like this one, but thats still 6 days from now. And there's no Canucks game until friday either. Atleast the weightroom is always available.

Hordichuk
I agree with the Belichick decision still. He's made a career of making calls like that. Respect to any coach who plays to win instead of the ones who play not to lose.

MusclePrime
For me, what makes it worse is the fact that my brother, who I enjoyed the game with, is as avid a Colts fan as I am a Pats fan. You can bet I won't hear the end of this until the Conference Finals when the Pats make up for it.
Bang Bang Boogie
Belichick made the right call. The issue imo is that they decided to give to Kevin Faulk, instead of Randy Moss or Wes Welker.
The Alchemist
Yeah. Especially with the younger players. He basically told Wilhite,Meriweather,Chung,Butler he doesn't trust them to stop Peyton. Drew Brees is in 2 weeks, Belichick better not have the same mindset. gmen81
So how about that game tonight. Wow what an awesome game. Quinn is the QB of the future for the Browns.
Belligerenceâ„¢
With all those camera angles, it's one hell of a task to not show all those empty seats in the second half. Lord knows they tried. At least the Browns D showed up to play.
Sultan of Sarcasm
If the Pats had punted, then Belichick is saying that he doesn't trust Brady to get 2 yards. The Patriots strength is offense, it makes sense to use your best unit to decide the game.
VanJets
This is a side of the argument I had not yet considered. It's an interesting point, but I'm not sure I agree. In a situation like that, EVERYONE thought they were going to punt, Brady and the boys included. Punting wouldn't have made anyone have a second thought, but NOT punting was a big ol' slap to the defense. I guess it's a moot point now, but man does it irk me. Sultan of Sarcasm
Fact is the dude won 3 SB with decsions like that, so you can't blame him for it. But I, like a lot of people, are hoping this is the start of many decsions that don't pay off, and the begining of the GREAT PATRIOTS COLLAPSEEEEEE
NucksPatsFan
Cracks were starting to form, but they've addressed a grandpa-like defense and are going to build on that. Meriweather, Chung, Butler, Wilhite, Mayo, Guyton, Wilfork (only 27 or 28), Brace, McGowan, Ninkovich, and Pryor all show signs of promise. Oaklands top 5 pick which the Patriots own will help big time. And there's always the Brady and Belichick factor. Obviously this team can't be a superbowl contender forever, but another good 2-4 years are definitely left, especially if Tate pans out and Moss stays on for another couple seasons, even though he may be losing a step he still draws attention. Saying that, I don't think Hoyer is the qb of the future, and I sense a qb being drafted in the first round this draft, or the 2011 draft in order to give him time to learn from Tom. NucksPatsFan
When he was just four years old, Tom Brady attended the 1981 NFC Championship Game with his father. He was in the stands at Candlestick Park when Joe Montana found Dwight Clark for "The Catch" that sent the 49'ers to the Super Bowl.

NucksPatsFan
If they DON'T take a QB with Oakland's pick I'll be stunned. Not to say there isn't other needs that could stand to be addressed, but the big one is filling in Tom's shoes in a few years. I don't know enough about the upcoming draft to make a suggestion though.
