1) Honda Civic DX-G - Coupe or Sedan.
2) VW City Jetta
3) Hyundai Elantra - I'm not so keen on this car but my parents has a friend who works at a Hyundai dealership.
All three are reliable, fuel-efficient. I don't know too much about cars so I thought I'd ask what you guys thought. The vehicle will be used mostly in Langley/Surrey area with occasional trips to Vancouver.
Thanks.

haha. That was Marco....not me.
If I personally had to chose from the 3 listed above, I'd pick the Civic actually.....
actually I dunno....I'd contemplate for a bit between the civic and a white jetta.
how much are they each?

Jetta, I own one, my dad owns one and we both love our jetta's they are very fuel efficieant and if you buy a tdi then it is even more fuel efficieant and disel prices are currently lower than regular gas...at least in the states...plus jettas look really nice.

Civic coupe is 17,180 Ca$
Civic Hybrid is26,250 Ca$
Jetta is 23,475 Ca$
Jetta Tdi is 26,750 Ca$
So between a Jetta Tdi and a Civic Hybrid there is not much of a price difference but a great quality difference, I prefer Jetta's and I coudl be biased since all I have driven is VW's but that's just me, I have experience and so does my dad...He is glad he has a diesel at the moment

I beg to differ, a Tdi can go as far as 500,000 miles with out serious wear to the engine...that is with regular matinence...I had a Jetta that wnt 250,000 miles with out issues, till my ex drove it...that was a gas vehicle so VW's can go a long ways...
