I like it. Merch would be much better. I don't get all the people that are happy with the ugly dark blue + silver + maroon. Whenever I see someone walking around in a Canucks hat with those colours I feel like I've been pulled into a mid 90s timewarp. The problem with the Canucks constantly changing their logos/uniforms to trendy colours is that there's no continuity with our look, and in time each one looks hideous, save for the original (which they should have kept all along). The blue/green of the vintage uniforms--the colour scheme they'll be using this year--is a classic scheme that evokes the west coast perfectly.

And a two-tone logo would stand the test of time, much like the Leafs logo has for all these years (save for minor tweaks). It would be nice to have a bit of green in the logo, but we'll see how they look on reveal day.

It's worthy of note that many of the traditional and popular logos have a simple color scheme, with the exception of the Hawks logo though that is a classic in its design as well. Boston is gold and black. The Leafs are blue. The Red Wings are... well you know. The Habs and Rangers are red, white and blue.

If the Canucks keep it simple, have blue jerseys with some green and white included, then bloody STAY WITH THEM. My only quibble with the orca is obvious. We have an orca logo because we were owned by Orca Bay at the time and it looks very corporate, but enough with the changes.

The logo doesnt look to bad actualy. At first i was like what the f*** is this sh**.

This logo looks a lot more slicker and has a more classic feel to it then the orignal because of the simple blue/silver color design. I am impressed and with the streamlined jerseys this should be a beaut.
