There's minimalism and then there's bland...

Vintage logo was great, it was simple but had a lot of elements going on for it. This one...blech. I don't want a more cartoony logo but some evolution to the logo would be welcome at this point. Keep the whale, no problem there, but this is just wasting a golden opportunity to take a step forward rather than sideways

what elements vintage logo have going for it? For me, the colors were what made the vintage nice more so then the actual logo.

The Orca design itself is more complex then the vintage logo. I wanna see the actual jerseys before making a final judgement though.

so taking a step forward would be bringing back an old logo?

i think you got the minimalism and bland comparisons backwards

the whale wasn't going to change, they wanted to keep the haida styling, what else could they do? water coming out of the blowhole? sharper teeth?

Well if this is the logo then obviously the main reason for eliminating the red in the logo was for vintage green to somehow be incorporated into the jersey.

I personally dont like the logo and I hope that the jersey does something to really compliment it, otherwise its going to look even more lifeless than the stick in rink

Agree. Our logo looks so lame and soft. Teams should be afraid when then play us. LMAO. The new sharks logo looks really kool and tougher and the nucks logo should have teh same idea has the sharks logo

I fully support the move to a single colour. Blue is a fine choice.
