and when you think about it, along time ago thats what dave nonis said that it was exactly going to be, I guess since everyone loves vintage they assume thats whats going to be on it

Yeah. And the only reason this whole Orca + Vintage thing even started was because people seem to think that certain things "hint" Vintage colours, but it hasn't actually been clearly stated, or not that I'm aware of. They've clearly stated that the Orca will be staying, but everything about the Vintage has been pretty shady.

Thanks For The Sig Daybreak

I have always liked the Killer Whale / Orca the best. Some points to consider about Orca's....

1. They do SCREAM west coast and British Columbia very well. It's a popular perception even here in Ontario where I live.
2. They are the LARGEST of the oceanic dolphin family.
3. Orca's are OPPORTUNISTIC and VERSATILE PREDATORS. (A large reason they are my favorite marine animal)
4. The Orca's large size and STRENGTH make them the FASTEST marine animals, often reaching speeds over 56 km/h. (Wikipedia)
5. The largest concentration of orca's in the world reside off the coast of British Columbia.
6. They are sometimes called the WOLVES of the sea because they hunt in PACKS like wolves. A TEAM concept.
7. Orca's FEAR NOTHING. They will attack adult whales, sharks and even polar bears on occasion.
8. They are UNBELIEVABLY SMART teachers and predators. See this link for more details if you like. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orca

I am definitely NOT 8 years old. I'm a full grown adult. I just happen NOT to like the Orca logo.

we dont think you're 8 because you dont like the orca.. it was the way you wrote it, and kind of the way that you spelt 'rules" rulz.. I didnt know full grown adults did that, but thats just my opinion :D

I didn't know spelling was that important on here. Also it was basically a play on the LOL Cats site, where they use the "rulz" type of spelling. Just wanted to be a bit different. Sorry for trying to add a bit of levity. :(

I really like the orca jersey.
before, the skate jersey really resonated "canucks" but after 10 years, this logo has really grown on me
it showcases the Haida art seen all throughout the west coast. and although it doesn't look the "coolest" I think it's a good logo.

I mean, what would please you people? if the orca was biting and breaking a stick?
or if it was gnarling while chewing apart a seal?

It would be pretty awesome if another NHL team's logo was a seal. ;)
