A lot of these blue logo pictures have been around for a long time, haven't they? My wife has a pink Canucks T-shirt with a pink and white orca. I could cell pic that and post it as a leak too. If the Canucks are so cloak and dagger about the new jersey and logo, why would they ship hats out before unveiling the new jersey?

I think that the logo will be unveiled on the 15th of September. I went to this hockey store downtown and I asked them when I would be able to buy the new jerseys and I was told that I could pre order them on the 15th (and no sooner), but that I would have to wait a week to get them in my hands. I don't see why they would unveil them on the 29th and then make us wait 16 days jsut to pre-order.

Ok you are truly an idiot instead of thinking it out or considering that it is the new logo, you just give a flat-out "no" like you own the damn Canucks. The hats you posted are custom Canuck hats made by the Vancouver Canucks organization. the hat that was leaked are official RBK NHL hats that are produced for every NHL team. Every NHL team has those hats in the same format even the NFL hats that are made by RBK have the same format.

So weighing all facts, unless that picture is photoshopped that is the offical logo of the Canucks which is the same picture that was leaked by blue.dragon28.

Where did I say no to the possibility of that being our new logo? Sushi said, "even if hats change colours and schemes it's not likely to see the logo itself actually changed on licensed merchandise". When I read that I remembered that I have a couple hats where the colours on the logo aren't blue, white, and maroon. Instead they have a camo print or two different shades of brown. I thought Sushi might not have seen these types of hats so I posted a picture of some that are available at Authentix.

Was that so hard to understand?

I'm with you <3. There are tons of alternate colours for Canucks hats already out there. I wouldn't count on this being the new one, just because they are from RBK.

I think if you look at the small red stitches on this year's draft hat and compare it to the leaked hat, it's quite a possibility that the leaked hat is real and we could expect a logo with no green, but jerseys that will have green.(ie. green stitches on leaked hat)  Draft_hat.jpg (35.22K)

Yeah but this isn't just another concept hat. It's the official draft hat that uses the same template for every team. The fact that they'd make a new hat using the same template but with different colors suggests to me strongly that those will be the team colors and that will be the new look orca logo.

It still doesn't make sense to ship out hats with the new logo (one which I have seen in previous years myself on hats) while keeping the jersey under lock and key.

well my friend told me that she has seen the jerseys, but i just got an email from her, so i havent seen them yet..cause im out of town. though it could just be fake.. butt her dad has alot of connections with the canucks

Authentix gets a head start on selling the new jersey. I expect they have the window from August 29 to Sept 15.

Thank god I though tI would have to have waited for like another month. I'm gonna give Authentix a ring sometime and ask when I can buy them... I guess that will be a more accurate way to judge the unveiling date. Oh god I'm so excited !!!!!!!!!

And to be fair, taking an existing jersey, changing the colors to vintage colors, and sticking an existing team logo on it isn't really something that you can give someone credit for. It's all just speculation using pre-existing jersey designs, logo's, and templates.

Have you guys seen an updated version of the stick-in-rink logo?

My friend put an image up on our forums and I've never seen it anywhere around here before. I told him to watermark it but he didn't yet but maybe you guys already seen it. You guys know what I'm talking about? (it's in vintage colours --- blue, green white --- basically a modernized version)
