Hey I have a question...
If they spent 1,000,000 on the new jersey it really can't just be a logo colour change just doesn't sound right. They have had so many different logo colour combos... they have the Pink one, the Believe in Blue one and they have the skate in rink with orca colours did all those cost a million bucks?... a simple colour change on a logo you already own shouldn't cost a million dollars; or should it? I know all the leaks are the Orca but it doesn't make sense

They would have to replace pretty much everything inside GM Place to be uniform (no pun intended) with the new look. That means new banners, new paint, new logos. Take a look at how many old orca logos are inside that building, there's a lot, and all of those will need to be replaced. There's a lot of work that goes into a jersey/logo change which is where the majority of the money is going to.

well, I think there's a good posibility that it will be the orca, but the truth is: no one knows, and we're all just gonna have to wait for it to be released. I guess thats reality eh?

Dave Nonis has said on two different occasions that the orca logo is staying (both on Team 1040). You guys can believe some crazy conspiracy theory about how he's just tricking everyone, but you're just fooling yourselves.

One thing that confuses me, I think NHL 08 comes out Sept. 11, but how are other teams jerseys being released after that date?!?!!?

most likely a year of NHL08 with a bunch of old jerseys. They have updated most of the recent ones of the teams who actually unvailed.. silly nonis.

Rick Ball just said that he got an e-mail from a listener that sent a picture of the new jersey. He says that they are going to put it on the Team 1040 website in a few minutes.

That may be the telltale sign to how accurate the jersey is or not. If the Team1040 posts it on their website and it is removed or never shows up there, its the real one. If they are allowed to keep it up and it remains on their site for a while, probably fake.

Since they are the Canucks customer, they will do what the Canucks say...and I cant see them allowing the Team to keep a pic of the jersey they havent released yet up on their website.
