let me clarify. I'm not saying that the orca is not staying. I just mean to say that if they posted THIS picture, it makes me think that the Fin's Friends version might be the real one. Don't you think that the Team 1040 has been sent emails of ALL the jerseys on this thread? Why did they decide to post this one and not the Fin's Friends one?

We were told that the one on their site was made by a fan for NHL 07.

Um While I don't disagree 100%, The Team 1040 were around before they had the Canucks and were kicking Mojo's donkey in the ratings. Getting the Canucks only made them stronger. But they were not in danger of going away any time soon.

They have basically every sports team in Vancouver under contract when it comes to radio rights. Without the Canucks, they would still be doing fine.

You really don't have a clue what you're talking about. Dave Pratt and other hosts always trash the Canucks for many reasons and part of the agreement to the deal that they signed, is that they will still be able to express their opinions freely. Regardless of the fact that they are the Canucks radio broadcaster.

They have been giving up as much news as they can get on the new jersey, they've tried to get Nonis to spill the beans and hell, Dave Pratt hates the logo more than most people and he let's listeners know of that because they can say absolutely whatever they want. Just another example, Pratt is always talking about the sale of the Canucks court battle that Aqualini is having with Tom Gaglardi and Ryan Beedie. That clearly shows that they can say and talk about whatever they want without being given a memo.

They have absolutely no restrictions when it comes to Canucks news, criticism or anything of that degree. Trust me, I know. I am a daily listener to the station and you are clearly very ignorant.

It's really not that much longer to wait until we see the new jerseys. I mean it has to be in the next 28 days (Because NHL 08 releases Sept. 11). Hopefully it'll be on the 29th, but even if its not, they can only make us wait another 12 days. This post is really pointless, I was just thinking aloud.
