OK I made a horrible photoshop slight modification to RichardPeterNuss' design taking away the green on the logo - it's what I believe the jerseys will look like but I'm still looking for a bit of help on a couple things.

Is there someone out there that can make these look like the new releases by the other teams instead of the NHL 07 skins or whatever they're called?

First the Away jerseys.
Don't use this neck line - use the more "V" shaped one like the Caps new jerseys. Same stripping maybe a silver/gray stripe instead of the white on the neckline, sleeves and bottom - no green on the logo.

The Home jersey.
Put "VANCOUVER" text instead of "CANUCKS" this makes more sense because then it's read as Vancouver Canucks (the "C" being the symbol for Canucks and all!), also use the same "V" shaped neckline and substitute the silver/gray stripe as well like the Away jersey I've suggested - no green in the logo.

Again these aren't mine they are based on designs by RichardPeterNuss and I'm just hoping someone can use their great photoshop skills to help me out!!!

I think the ice on the white away jersey should be vintage blue. (if you believe rumour #69855632) LOL

You may be right but if someone can help me out we can make little modifications as we go.

Oh and I thought it was rumour #69855630, #69855632 was the change to the August 29 release date if I'm not mistaken

Right you are. All this anticipation is clouding my thought processes.
All I know is that whatever jerseys they're wearing, they'll still be my favourite team. Go Canucks Go.

Not just Jersey City, but everywhere that I've been to.

That list would include Authentix, GameDay sports in richmond, the Jersey City in Guildford and the Capilano, the Bay downtown, and Granville St sports store.

It looks likely that the hat and the logo leak is the real thing...

Why are they keeping this such a big secret? This is a hockey market. People are going to buy the jersey weather they release it today or at the end of the month. C'mon...I dont think this tension is carrying over to the regular Joe Canuck outside this board.

Just do it. Just show us the jersey. Stop being mean.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

That's been there since last season. They've always used that logo for the podcast

This year's practice jerseys are royal blue, last years they were navy. So they are new.

THat looks royal blue to me. They also had green and also white practice jerseys to go along with the vintage royal blue.

The other set of practice jerseys are of course the orcas: navy blue, maroon, white.

There's the green. :3

Agreed. Other than that, I agree with all of the other mods to that jersey. Would love to see the completed version.

I don't know if it's likely but I hope the new jerseys if they are the Fin's Friends one and the hat and all that the only thing I hope is the wordmark Vancouver on the Fin's friends thing is just for the kiddie jerseys like the ones in the past.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/N...1QQcmdZViewItem

So here's hoping cause that's the only thing that is glaringly nasty on those to me.

The other thought I had, there is no reason that the Canucks couldn't do what Ottawa did the last couple seasons and have one logo for home games and another for away. Maybe the Canucks will go Vintage stick in rink at home, and the new Orca for the aways, however unlikely I just don't know if that's been considered or not?... but hey I'm just throwing it out there... I just really hope they don't include the wordmark.

I was just reading a review for NHL 08 for PS3, and all the new jerseys are in the game, but you will not be able to access them until all the teams have unveiled them in real life. It said that EA will post a code on their website that gamers can enter and all the new jerseys will be fully useable. That was off gamespot.com s "last look" at NHL 08.
GO CANUCKS GO!

link to the gamespot article mentioned above.

Hockey purists looking at videos of NHL 08 and wondering where the all-new Reebok NHL jerseys are will be pleased to note that they are in the game but, due to licensing issues with the NHL, they won't be immediately available. Instead, once all of the NHL teams have introduced their new-look uniforms, a code will be provided on the EA Sports web site that, once entered into the game, will unlock the new uniforms for use in your matches.

If the jerseys are already in the game, and you just need to enter a code to unlock them, wont people who own the PC version be able to hack the game and find them all? Sounds like a pretty half-assed plan by EA.

what's that? hackers unite!! the plan for the new jersey may be right under our noses, all we need is a code breaker... and a copy of NHL 08.

NHL 08 doesn't come out until Sept. 11. The new Canucks jersey will be unveiled before then, so it's really a moot point.
