i dont mean to throw more into the descussions......but i had two people tell me today that their going back to the yellow orange and red flying "V" jersey, just word of mouth, which i doubt is true, but i would be stoked!

ya but the black c with the red flames looks quite amazing, they have one of the best jerseys in the league, as much as I hate them

Yeah me too, I'd be extremely happy. You make a good point. Obviously the stick in rink was popular among the fans last season and in the playoffs.. and they DID use the jerseys for the rest of the playoffs.. gah.

Eeek. Seriously? I hate their jerseys. I think our stick in rink jersey is MUCH better. The colours are so vibrant and our players look so sharp when they wear the jersey. The pictures always come out really nice too

k, i guess something popped in my head...

the reason why they're keeping the orca... is that they still get to use the stick in rink logo for other things... like merchandising, advertising... it's simple and effective. if they made the stick in rink logo the main logo and did away with the orca logo... there's no way they can incorporate that logo in anything else they're doing... it just doesn't work the other way around...

i guess it's just good business?

We should design a new logo. I love the vintage logo but it's time for a change. We need something that all fans will like (that will be hard to do) and something that we won't have to change or tinker with every few years.

We've never been able to design the right logo that fits not only the team, but also the city. The Orca logo fits the city but what does it say about the team? That all of our players play like Whales on skates? At least when it comes to teams like Phoenix you can say that they play like rabid Coyotes or like the Thrashers that can thrash their opponent at any time.

Who's with me? Not only change the design of the jersey, change the logo completely.

Oh the vintage jerseys from last year are some of the best of all time but I really do think that the calgary jersey is also one of the best, plus the sea of red just looks amazing during the playoffs

ppl stop trashin the orca logo, its the nucks logo and is going to remain the logo...however it would b sweet if the home jersey had the stick-in-rink logo and the away had the orca or the other way around, kinda like the jerseys England Wins made but the orca instead of the johnny canuck ..that way most ppl would b happy
