The dude who started the "New jersey thread" has it right, even if he doesn't really know Justin Morneau. I've heard it from the reebok rep, it IS in fact the orca logo but with vintage colors. Me presonally, I don't know why sports teams don't ask their FANS what we want, you know, hold a poll that ensures people can only vote once. It's the same thing that happened in Victoria with the Salmon Kings. A room full of old men decided on this retarded name for a hockey team and we are all stuck with it. WHy not have a vote, are the fans not important enough to decide what their team's jerseys look like??

No matter how many McFarlane painters or EA employees you know, I'm pretty sure the Reebok rep will be the most accurrate source, seeing as how he works for the company that actually MAKES the jerseys and his job is to go around and assist stores in selling his company's product.

Take the date with a grain of salt, as it's based off rumours. I expect some official announcement on the website soon, just like the Flames have done.

This thread has more grains of salt than Winnipeg's roads in December.

Does this mean there's no Alex Burrows figurine coming :(

Attached File  awjers.jpg (241.49K)
Number of downloads: 214 what you guys think? i was just messing around on Macromedia Flash. It's a revised "stick in the rink" logo, and a "V" with breaking ice in it, and instead of white as the away jersey, vintage creme, like the all star jerseys two or three years ago, i forget. NOTE: this is just for fun, the jersey the canucks are unveling is most likely the boring blue and white orca on kick donkey traditional colours

just to clear a couple things up

it's not my concept, it's just something i pulled from the 90 plus pages and referenced to my insider, you can clearly tell it's not 100% with the pixelation around the logo

i misquoted my friend as well, they said they were "pretty much spot on", they also were convinced the original leak (the model skin) looked like an internal leak, obviously unless it was pulled from nhl 07 and modified by a talented photoshopper

the logo won't have any green, it will be very similar to blue dragon's style guide image, although the lighting causes it to look a little off

it basically is the jersey from the fin photo, but will obviously without the intricate texturing and material traits that a real jersey would have

Milan Lucic - Ryan Getzlaf - Shane Doan
Jason Williams - Forward - Forward
Cam Barker - Michal Rozsival
Mathieu Schneider - Adrian Aucoin

These aren't bad, but I would seriously not want to see these as our jerseys. But good job though.

I have a friend who is a model painter for McFarlane. He's working on the new Alex Burrows figurine for NHL Series 19, and he says these are "way, way off".
;)

Burrows McFarlane figure?????

I forsee sales in the millions .... well maybe just thousands .... no probably just hundreds .... wait my guess is 15!!

8 to Alex himself, 4 to family, and the remaining 3 to teammates hoping to cheer him up and curb his constant crying in the dressing room!

They are getting some kind of desperate if they are resorting to Burrows figures.

You're clearly very talented, but the design concept is pretty awful.

Why doesn't someone just call the RBK head office and just start asking them questions. They probally have no clue how crazy the fans here are and how bad we all want to know, so they may just give you a description not knowing any better. (Assuming they are located in the USA some where)

One 24 hour suspension, a month suspension (lifted early) and errr 10 day suspension for Rick Rolling.......

rbk employees know they'll be fired if they reveal anything about the jersey.

The fact that the picture is blurry and that the person doesn't know sh!t about scanners proves that there is something fishy behind the "leak..."
