I dunno guys, i have to call bull$hit... Willie Mitchell let it slip that he really likes the vintage green did he not?
Like the same day of the photo shoot. I would find it hard to believe with all this talk about going vintage... those jerseys posted above arent vintage in any way. The blue is not even the same shade as their vintage skate unis. I would say that mock up looks more like an updated version of the orca uni than a recreation of the vintage.

I wouldn't doubt BlueDragon's claim completely, because the Bay downtown DOES have official affiliations to the Canucks. I think I know exactly who Dragon's talking about, because I know for sure that they have access to the new designs.

That's where I heard about new logos for Tampa, Boston and San Jose, to begin with. That's 3 for 3 so far.

I don't think they'd ever do a blue, grey, white colour scheme. It'd be way too much like the Leafs and Lightning.

if someone was to post a photo of the new uniform

Then.......the Canucks would most probably pull the post or hide the logo, or block the link from this page.

BTW- The Vancouver Whitecaps are joining MLS with Montreal and one other team in 2009. The just said so on the Revolution radio show tonight.

BTW- The Vancouver Whitecaps are joining MLS with Montreal and one other team in 2009. The just said so on the Revolution radio show tonight.

They won't be able to compete with the higher level teams the way they're playing...

there's 8 East team and 6 west teams... I thought there'd be 2 west teams for Sure, Vancouver and _____ seattle or portland, or some who cares city somewhere USA mid west.

That's just speculation, there's a lot of cities that the MLS is looking at for expansion.

Not the biggest fan of the 'Mr Bean' Bi-colours with silver accents; I concur with most everyone else with the Tampa/Toronto comparisons. I prefer the versions floating around with the vintage colours and the green/blue 'Free Willy'. Just my 2 cents worth.....

Look, I have my sources, and you have yours. I'm just printing up what I heard from those that I know are affiliated and linked to either the Canucks franchise (the Bay downtown), or working in the information section of the NHL, keeping track of team's items and such.

Would you like to censor me by not allowing me to put anything up on this thread, because I can do that if you wish...

My level of credibility is the same as the guy who took the picture of the hat, or the guy who took the "leaked jersey" picture. The only difference is that I have asked around Vancouver to see if there is anything new.

If you don't trust me, then I invite you to take a trip to the Bay downtown (Granville St skytrain stn) and ask the store manager there. Come back to me when you actually go through with the trip and get an anwser.

Another interesting note is that every post I have made about the jersey where I disclose new info, I have put a disclaimer in my posts. I have encouraged you readers to take everything in here with a grain of salt. If you don't want to believe me, then fine my me; we shall see what the logos and jersey is come the 29th (or when Orca Bay decides to release it.)

In BlueDragon's defence, I have talked to the guy that runs the sports shop at the Bay Downtown on a few occasions. I haven't talked to him about the 'new' jersey issue, but in the past, I have talked to him about releases of vintage Canuck jerseys, tees, hats and other sports paraphenalia. This guy has been pretty spot on as to how, what, when and where the gear comes out. So, maybe there is some credence to what is being said here. Believe me, this 'Bay' guy is a credible source.
