I just wanted to point out that if you have secition for the facts (things you know are true) and a section for rumous . Team 1040 saying its expected to be in vintage colours is in the fact section. The word expected does not institute a fact and its in the wrong list. Also it may incorporate a new logo......... "May" that seems factual too. Apparently facts and rumours are hard to differentiate.

The interview on the Team 1040 today was extremely disappointing. I was expecting so much to come out of it but it ended up being a complete bust. They had a mention of the new jersey but most of the talk was about some of our free agents and news that happened today such as the Penner signing with the Oilers.

if that is the real jersey, which i doubt, i'm never buying another jersey again. its the constapated whale again, which i really hate, why can't they just change logo and everything like into something new,something that the league hasn't seen.

we cant keep switching logos we have done it enough some people spend a lot of money buying things is it really fair to those people to keep changing the logo every few years and make all those things they buy outdated. The only reason we ever change our logo is for marketing purposes and I for one am not on the marketing side I'm on the teams side and the orca whale is our team logo. What if they decided to change the logo every year and use different colors. I'd be quite angry if that happened its bad enough that yellow red orange green white grey blue black our in our previous color schemes gee lets add a pink and brown to the mix as well that'll really make my house look great. Point is stop changing the logo (even if you thing its constapated) stop changing the colour schemes but of course we all know that wont happen cause it all comes down to the might dollar. For the record though I dont mind this change keeping the colours we've used at least and the logo we used it'll fit into the color scheme of my house no problem but its just a matter of time before the new jerseys arent new anymore.

dude. I am with you. I am so sick of having an rediculous looking jersey. I love this team so much - and haven't bought a any team merch in 10 years. I truly truly hate our logo. I think if I was like 12 it would be cool. but at 29 I don't want to look like a total tool.

Isn't it strange that we are the only Canadian team that changes their logo time and time again. We are also the only Cdn team NOT to win the cup. Do you think there is a connection?

Leafs, Oilers, Habs...they are iconic. The flames only slightly change theirs, only one win but a dominating team for many years. The same goes for the Rangers, Flyers, Wings etc. Even the Pens when to the cup winning colours. No mention of the original baby blue or robo-penguin there.

As Canucks we have had 2 visits. One was in those horrible flying V jerseys. They were voted one of the ugliest jerseys ever YET they still sell well. I own one myself! The only one that does not sell well in that horrible yellow jesrey from around 86....AND WE SUCKED MISERABLY!

I think the logo/jersey becomes iconic when the team becomes great, so until the nucks actually win the cup, we will be floating in Logo Limbo.
