I smell BS on your story.
why bs on my story?
Is it not plausible that that's what he told me?
Anwyays, i'm not saying whether I believe him or not. All I"m saying is that's what he told me. Does anybody have anything to substantiate it? or is it just bogus?

Not BS on your story but what he told you sounds like BS.

One thing that has always bothered me about wearing darks at home is... a season ticket holder would watch 41 home games... every night you would see us in the same dark color say navy or vintage blue vs the road team in white. Every single game. You watch blue vs white. Under the old system of home whites we would see different color uniforms on our ice most games. Then we when go on the road the home team would see their white vs our blues.. and maybe the next game they see detoit's red or tamps new black.. you get the picture.

I agree and that's why it wouldn't bother me if they switched back.
Season tix holders of the late 1980's had it best. They would see that beautiful Yellow of the canucks

and every other teams road/dark colour

so i was talking to this employee at Authentix and he told me that the jersey was leaked by Willie Mitchell.
He claims that it's the orca minus the red and light blue, and fading down into black.
Anybody have a photo of this? Anybody hear of this?
is this what you're talking about

not really, it was obvious the orca was staying since everyone moaned about the logo changing too much and the canucks lacking identity. So i guess it make sense for them to keep this one for so long as this is what the younger fans know, so itll be around for a while i think

I believe they played in those in the early 70's, but not sure how long.

Those were the Canucks jerseys worn back in the WHL days.
