2. We have cheesy large "Vancouver" or "Canucks" wordmarks over our logo... If the wordmarks are very small and located under the NHL symbol (like on NFL jerseys) I could handle that...

I dont know/care about 2k8 but i know for sure taht NHL 08 has all of the new jerseys already in the game and you just need to go online to get a code to unlock them as they are released. IE the canucks will already be on there but any that are not out yet (Toronto, new jersey etc..) will need to be unlocked with said codes.

Both game companies have stated that those games will have every new 07/08 jersey in it. The uniforms that have not been revealed by their respective teams in time for release will be unlockable via free codes available at the game company's official website as these uniforms are revealed.

Don't have the source on hand, but that info comes from interviews with both game developers.
