I still dont know why they spent a million on design, when people on these boards spent no money and half an hour coming up with amazing designs.
Perhaps canucks should follow Nestle. They arnt dumb..why pay a marketing dept tonnes of money when you can get your fans to do it for you. Their next contest is for chocolate lovers to design the smarties box.

Most of the jerseys that have been released so far are pretty ugly. I sure hope ours doesn't turn out that way!

Makes me wonder too, but realize there's probably FAR more to that million than just recoloring the logo and designing the jerseys. It's called legalities and red tape.

all the times that nonis and others have said that the orca is staying do u think they r just yankin our chain? could the orca just be the shoulder patch and maybe the vintige or good old johny canuck be the main crest? and can a team have different logos for away and home? like orca on away and have the vintage at home or sumthin like that???

I think they are going to try too hard to look nice and new/cutting edge crap that it will look like crap.
If you spend 1 million bucks on the design, the people are going to be trying too hard.
