The Vancouver Giants have a really sweet jersey and logo. I know I'll start buying WHL jerseys now that the NHL is turning to Reebok nation. I'll start with my hometown Chilliwack Bruins and get the Giants next. I just have to remember not to wear the Giants jersey to a Bruins game.

I've been told by numerous people who have seen the jerseys and from their descriptions everything that they explained to me was on the Fin's Friends leak. Also, all of the things they told me happened before that picture made its way online. I knew about various components such as the horizontal striping, the orca logo without the red, the vintage colors and the "VANCOUVER" wordmark in the months leading up to that picture being posted.

I don't like the jersey that fin is wearing in that picture. Where is that picture even from? The current "Fin's Friends" page still has Fin wearing the current Orca logo: http://canucks.nhl.c...p...ge&bcid=536

Anyways, I guess we wont know for sure until the jersey is finally released... if that day ever comes.

I simply asked how he knew what he said in that post. He sounded as if he actually knew what the new jersey would look like and that it wasn't just another rumour, so I wanted to know his source.

I will question it until the day the jersey is released, and I'll get used to them once I actually see them. I suggest you wrap your head around that.

That's a question I'd like answered as well. When I saw it I was like "holy s***!" because of everything that I had been told. Seemed like a rather random way for it to get leaked but they wouldn't have created a different jersey design for Fin if that's not the jersey they're going to use.

As far as what day, your guess is as good as mine, but I believe David Pratt has made mention about a press conference on August 29th or something? That seems about right.

Maybe we could just pitch any logo and go with just lettering. The Rangers won the Cup in 1994 and the Ducks won the Cup their first year without a logo. Maybe the heavy whale weighs them down and they win every game next year with just lettering.

Yeah, Mid - Late August is also what I've been hearing.

If the new jersey is going to be blue and green, there shouldn't be a Orca logo on it. It should have the Vintage logo on it since it matches blue and green. That would be better!

I don't understand why everyone is sooooooo wound up about the Orca staying. It's nice that they're trying to establish tradition with a certain logo. People are getting wound up about the Vintage not being used full time but that's what make the vintage unique. IT'S NOT USED ALL THE TIME! They've stated that all teams will not be using an alternate jersey next year but what's stopping them from introducing a alternate the following year. People keep saying that the Orca logo is a corporate symbol and shouldn't be used. At least the "corporate" logo relates to the west coast and for people saying that orcabay doesn't ownthe team anymore should realize that although the Aquillinis own the team, they accquired it by buying Orcabay Sports & Entertainment....just my 2 cents
