seriousy....I know the flying V was voted one of worst hockey jerseys all time....but I think he have a new contender....the 07/08 "VANCOUVER" giant text jersey.

I...am indifferent at the moment. When I first saw them skate onto the ice, I was like... "Oh my...". Then I saw the vibrant colours of the home, which will look GREAT on HDTV's especially, and warmed to them a little. I think that they will certainly take some getting used to, as they are fairly busy, and have a lot of different features that scream for attention...but my opinion right now is very much on the fence.

Oh, and I actually prefer the Aways. The White doesn't look as busy as the blue.



And hey...at least Roberto STILL looks badass.

The Ducks is far from generic. Vancouver is Generic, the old rangers jerseys are generic.

uh i dont think they just paid someone a million dollars. they wouldnt just get some artist and tell him he would get 1mil, then let him go do his thing and come back with a design.
and it wouldnt be a professional move to pay a regular fan to be in charge of the new jerseys.

Those jerseys are much worse than I ever could have imagined.

Every single mock-up made by users on this forum is better than those pieces of crap.

The only thing they got right is sticking to the vintage colours. The new shoulder patch sucks, the wordmark is the worst thing I've ever seen, the logo is a terrible size and misplaced, the horizontal stripes with uneven jersey bottoms, seriously, unbelievable.

I think the stripes are uneven with the jersey bottoms because all players have to tuck in their jerseys now. so by adding the gap, the players can tuck in the jerseys and still show all the stripes. Then again i could be completely off

I also really like the home jerseys, the pick of luongo in it on the main page looks really sharp. I'm not sold on the away jersey though...yet.

Not a fan. Don't detest them, but the small "Canucks" word mark on the mock-up in "Maxim Afinogenov's" first post of this thread would have been way better than a giant garish "Vancouver" spread across the front and pushing the logo down.

I guess I'll be sticking to wearing my faded 12 year old replica jersey to games, at least until the next re-design, cause I don't think I'll be buying this one.
