WTF. These jersey's are ugly. They should have jsut gone back to the vintage jersey and most people would've been happy. I will not buy one I will just stick with my flying skate, orca and vintage ones

when i first saw it i didn't like it, but it is slowly starting to grow on me. like most of you, i hate the "VANCOUVER" across the chest! i like the away jersey more than the home jersey, but the orca logo is too dark... i still like the vintage jerseys the most

Like I said before, personally I don't mind them....but I had no idea everybody would detest them...lol. I have to agree with everyone though, there is just way too much going on at once. The VANCOUVER is way too enlarged, and I believe the mock-ups look better. I also thought we should have got rid of the horizontal stripe, because the vertical looks cooler. I definitely think the mock-ups made on this forum...each and every one of them is better than the new jersey. Hell, Pfizer's hybrid logo is f*cking dope. At the moment, I would rather the team wear Salmon Kings jerseys than the new ones....LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Jerseys are pretty minor league looking although they give me the feeling that they'll look better through time
i guess i'll give it one season and see if they grow on me

I've been a Canuck fans back to the old WHL days and even though I hated the Flying V, the new Jersey tops the list as the worst ever. As a designer, there are many elements to it that are all wrong given the fact you're designing on a new Reebok Jersey whose hems are not like the jerseys of old. If they wanted to place "Vancouver" on the front of the jersey, the type font should have been more stylized instead of using ARIAL (They could have even used the font they're using for canucks.com). The type size is much too big that there is no longer a focal point, which should have been the Orca logo itself. I really don't like the bottom band as its too wide and doesn't flow along the lines of the jersey hemline. The band ends up being too close to the player's number. If they wanted to go with the bottom band, it should have been narrower and even curve along the hems to simulate a "wave". I'm really surprised Francisco Aquilini even okayed this. For as long as I've known Francisco since Templeton High years, I've never known to see him make suspect choices until now. I have to admit, some fan jersey concepts outclass this "professional" act. I'll still buy the jersey because I'm a big fan, but I rather wear my Flying Vee than to this one.

O.k. I'm going to take a deep breath here...I was disappointed by the new Canucks jerseys, I was hoping they would be better...different. This is simply a variation of jerseys we've had in our past, but it's not very well done. On the brightside I do like the colours of the jersey, and the vintage insignia on the shoulder is nice. But, I do not understand why in the world we keep the orca whale!

The Skarks have a shark, the Panthers have a panther, the Lightning have a thunderbolt, the Canucks have a...have a...whale?

Answer: The previous ownership of the Canucks was a company named after an orca, which they used as their logo. Now that Aquilini owns the Canucks the orca whale does not fit at all. I would've been much happier if they pimped out the Johny Canuck logo, which is, after all, who the Canucks are named after.

And to top it all off, we have VANCOUVER written above the orca, just in case, you know we ever forget the city we live in. Beautiful!...pause not!
