I was kinda like, "What! Really???" but i actually kinda like them.... Wife isnt going to be so positive as she likes the red/burgundy colour of the old ones....

That font is nowhere near Arial. It's blocky and way more stylish than even the website font.

And I can't believe it... they spent a million dollars to monocrome the Orca logo and slap it on the vintage jerseys with a large "Vancouver" above it? Ugh! What a joke! I was at least looking forward to something impressive. Instead we get a real life photoshoped Vintage jersey with a glaring font. It would've looked fine if they'd shrunk the "Vancouver" and had it simply straight atop the logo, instead of in a huge, bold, arching font (worst part of the design, IMO, and detracts from the Orca beneath).

Ugh. Not impressive at all. I'm sure they'll grow on me, but what a letdown.

Orca logo looks decent with blue and green

CONS
"Vancouver" in large font written across the chest...WTF?
The stripes don't look right on the new form fitting jerseys. Bottom stripes look like a comberbun
Stick and Rink patch looks too cartoony [what was wrong with the old one? Why didn't they use it?]
With the word mark, it looks too cowded with the C, A and the patch.

hardly any logo does :s.... i don't get it... Orcas are found on the coast... what else do you want?

people are expecting way to much.... would you rather it be the Inukshuk on the 2010 logo?

The big "VANCOUVER" caught me off guard, but once I got over the initial shock, I really dug the vintage, grass-roots hockey vibe that it transmits. Great jersey, and a great concept. Love it.

No idea how much time and effort was spent on it, but seems kinda moot to dwell on that.

This is typical Vancouver. I think this represent us pretty well pos. and neg.

It has the Blue green, WEst coast colours.
It has Blue Green because of our attachment to the past.
It is everything for everybody Very PC. Have to satisfy everyone!!!

Those jerseys are much worse than I ever could have imagined.

Every single mock-up made by users on this forum is better than those pieces of crap.

The only thing they got right is sticking to the vintage colours. The new shoulder patch sucks, the wordmark is the worst thing I've ever seen, the logo is a terrible size and misplaced, the horizontal stripes with uneven jersey bottoms, seriously, unbelievable.

I am convinced a monkey designed those. Those jerseys better only cost 20 bucks, because I can guarantee you they're not worth much more.
